New Term of Shichida

Lucas has resumed his Shichida classes since July and cos his previous teacher had left. He was now being coached by another experienced teacher.

I must say Teacher Bel is really strict. Last time, Lucas will jump around in class but now, NO WAY.

In his own words, 'I dun want Teacher Bel scold me..'

Lolx, I must say while I was pretty shocked initially, I have started to appreciate Teacher Bel's teaching style. And of cos, Lucas is more focused in classes and more willing to do the home practice cos he dun want to risk scoldings from Teacher Bel..

But he gets pretty motivated when he gets praises from Teacher Bel.. He will even tell me after classes who got the most scoldings for the day.. lolx..

Somehow, he pretty much adores his new teacher now and even allow her to paste the sticker on his face...

Anyway, there will be mini tests incorporated into the classes from this week... Mommy Me has been practicing with Lucas who is pretty much on the ball liao... Having a strict teacher really makes a difference sia...

I luv my iPad

Daddy Sky bought Mommy Me an iPad for my birthday but somehow Lucas always declares that it is his... =.='''

Of cos, he coerced me to downloading the Thomas app which costs me USD$4.99... The most expensive app I have ever gotten. But it can realli keep him occupied for hours and it will usually be most appreciated when I need some time to deal with Lewis or doing the household chores..

Oh well, guess it is good for him to sometimes declare the iPad as his bah... ^^

Home Alone with Bb Lewis

Since Mommy Me goes back to work, I have hardly an time alone with Bb Lewis..

Today is one of the rare day cos it is Dada Ah Yee's graduation ceremony (yes, she has attained her masters.. =.=''') and my parents have to attend the ceremony..

So I am home alone with Bb Lewis and he is such a darling..
Sleeping quietly while Mommy Me was busy packing the house and washing the clothes..

Growing Baby Lewis

Baby Lewis is easier to handle at 3 months old.. I remember that Gege Lucas was much tougher cos he does not want to sleep at night.. Baby Lewis, on the other hand, sleeps better at nights and on rare occasions, he will give me his wide eye stares...

Sometimes Mommy Me feels very guilty of not giving enough attention to Baby Lewis. Talk about being a full time working mother, I supposed I am considered lucky as I spent much lesser time commuting between home and workplace..

Still, by the time, I bring the boys home. It is already close to 830 pm.

After packing Lucas' bag and going through the things to bring the next day, I am at 9 pm where I need to spend some time to study with Lucas... And after 30 mins, it is bedtime...

Though I wake up much earlier, say around 4.30 - 5 am, those are the rare moments where I will catch up on my own private times and there you have it, how much time do I have left for Baby Lewis?? I guess it is only the pocket of 30 mins where I feed him his milk in the middle of nights or wee hours of mornings...

Hopefully, things will be much better as the boys grow older... ^^

Ebisboshi Shotengai

On a Sunday morning, all Mommy Me wanted to do was to hide under the blanket and snooze away but of cos, this is a luxury these days... To make things more exciting, Lucas woke up at 5am and climbed into my bed... After a while, he decided this was morning and he was ready to PLAY!!! =.=''''

Mommy Me got out of bed and let Daddy Sky who was on the night shift sleep a little later.. But after a while, somehow finishing the housework chores, I found myself walking into the bedroom and falling asleep.. lolx... Real piggy mommy me..

Somehow, Daddy Sky was also sleeping and I din noe how long I slept... Lucas came into the room and passed me the telephone... Oops, it was 9.30 am and Grandma called to check where we were doing.. Jumping out of bed, I quickly start to get the boys ready to go out.. Then I realised that Lucas had fallen asleep on the sofa... =.='''

So I got Lewis ready first. Then Lucas woke up on his own and after showering him, we went to Great World City to have our breakfast cum lunch at Ebisboshi Shotengai - it was a BIG Japanese restaurant made up of its 3 speciality restauratns - Bishamon, Bentendo & Uomasa.

Daddy Sky had a ramen while Mommy Me and Lucas shared a hamburger rice set.
Lucas was recently into Diego and he even had to pick a Diego top to wear... =.='''

Actually we wanted to bring Lucas to this place:It is the latest place in town to let children burn off a good amount of energy.. So we had planned to bring Lucas there so that he can sleep better at night.. lolx...

But unfortunately he had a bit of cough and told us he is not keen to go in today.. Oh well... We hit home after getting some grocer...

The Day is Here!!!

The Day is HERE where we will be spending half the day at USS @ Sentosa...

Lucas got up early and dressed himself real fast.. This is one of the rare days where he is so cooperative... We dropped off Lewis first at my parents' place and went for a quick breakfast...

The joy and excitement is lying here in my hand... ^^
We reached at 10 am and oh boy, the place was already packed with people...
Daddy Sky had studied the map and identified the rides that we can take... The first stop is the Madagascar... But wait, check out who did we meet...
Yes, the kungfu Panda Po.. Lucas was excited but got scared when we went near to take the photo... =.='''

Mommy Me's colleague managed to get us a special express pass which allowed us to have fastest access to all the attractions with minimal need to queue...

After the stop at Madagascar, we moved quickly to the Far Far Away Land to watch the 4D show...
Then we took the super mini Ferris Wheel...
Finally after the jeep ride at the Mommies, we were famished and made our way looking around for food... We took our lunch @ KT's Grill where it was quiet and lesser people... Well, that's because of the prices tagged to the food..

Our table of finished food and with a price tag of $80... heehee... Daddy Sky said it was ok cos he wanted a quiet place to eat.. Oh well, since he is paying, I shall keep quiet...
Lucas even took a banana snack and was checking the wrapper if there was anymore in there... =.='''

Mommy Me returned the Express Pass to the colleague before making our way home... Though we had only stay close to half a day, it was pretty tiring and the amount of people at the place was so scary..

According to Mommy Me's colleague, today was one of the day with the highest number of visitors.. Anyway, we did not leave the place empty-handed... Lucas got himself a set of pens and a M&M dispensar while Mommy Me got a laptop sleeve and lanyard.. Daddy Sky could only get himself popcorns... =.='''

Family Day @ USS

Mommy Me's company will be having the Family Day this year at the Universal Studio Sentosa...
We are very excited about it and I have been telling Lucas about it.. He has been telling me that he wants to go on the Madagascar rides..
Mommy Me has been reminding him to behave himself so that I will bring him..

Not able to bring Lewis cos he is too young and he won't be able to enjoy himself either...

Lewis is 3 months old!!!

Today marks the day Lewis turns 3 months.. He is a cheerful baby... See him smile... ^^
And his favorite past-time is to 'eat his drumstick'.

Day out with the boys

Daddy Sky and Mommy Me have attempted to bring the boys out on our own a couple of times liao.. Frankly, it was pretty tough initially cos we had to jaga between the 2 of them.

Last time we only had to focus on Lucas alone so it was a shared duty between the 2 of us.. But now, it was a situation of one is to one... We took turns to focus on each of them at different times..

Of cos, Lucas was able to pin-point who he wanted at different times.. We cannot imagine when Lewis also can do the same and they point to the same person together cos either Daddy or Me will have to be torn between the 2 of them in time to come sia...

Nevertheless, yesterday we sort of all overslept and only woke up about 9 ++ am.. Took almost 1.5 hours to get both boys ready in order to go for a short shopping trip..

Had our usual Bak Kut Teh opposite Central and Lucas polished half a bowl of rice.. (Way to go, son...) He really loves his rice and wants to have them for breakfast... Since it was almost lunch when we took our breakfast, we did not really take any lunch at Vivo..

Concerned that Lucas might feel hungry which he did voice out, he ate a hotdog bun and still was not quite satisfied.. Hmm, talk about the appetite of a growing boy..

We went to Fruit Paradise where we order a Mango Banana Tart, coffee and tea... In fact, Mommy Me was still pretty full from the breakfast.. So the tart was 75% polished off between Lucas and Daddy Sky..

Mickey Mouse Lewis

Lewis has this Benbat which is to hold his head in place in the car seat... As mentioned previously, this Benbat is to prevent his head from knocking or rather swaying from left to right... And he don't really like the Benbat sticking onto his cheeks.
So, Mommy Me flipped it around and viola, I have a Mickey Mouse Lewis... ^^

After Lucas' Shichida class, both of us were feeling a little hungry.. So instead of heading home immediately, we detoured to the Macdonald Drive-Thru and bought a McNuggets Meal...

To qi kek Daddy, Mommy Me upsized the meal and changed the fries to twister fries and the drink to a strawberry & banana smoothie!!!
Lucas was enjoying his fries on the drive home... The all-time yummy twister fries...

First in Class

Lucas has Speech and Drama classes on every Wednesdays and Fridays..
He always wants to go up to the room before the rest of his classmates arrive..
He will play with the musical instruments while waiting for the teacher and his classmates to come into the room and of cos, the first one to sit right in front of his teacher...

Hopefully, this type of passion for his classes will stay with him for as long as possible.. hahaha..

Lewis @ Gymboree

It is time for Baby Lewis to start his play gym classes @ Gymboree...

Previously, Lucas also started going for his play gym classes when he was 2.5 months old... So Mommy Me started Lewis on his first lesson today..

He was very cooperative and did all the activities for the first 30 minutes..
He even made noises when we sang to him... ^^
According to the teachers in the class, he is much more reactive than they expected...
By the way, he was the one and only baby in the class.. lolx... so it was 2 teachers to 1 baby.. full attention lor...

But he got tired around the 30th minute so I decided to call it quits... And of cos, he was able to sleep super well at night.. hahaha, must be from the exhaustion...

Dinner @ Ion Sky

Daddy Sky gave me a very nice surprise on Friday... He told me that we will leave the boys at my parents' place and we will go for a nice dinner @ Ion...

Hmm, I was running through my brain / memory if there was any special or nice dining place in Ion... Thought very long but could not figure out which restaurant he was bringing me to..

It was the Salt Grill & Sky Bar @ Ion Sky on the 55th floor of Ion.. WAH, it never occured to me that Ion has so many floors... We were ushered to a special lift @ Ion that took us to 55th floor..

Check out the food we had: We did not manage to have any starters cos the steaks were all more than 200g.. It would be mission impossible to swallow the main course and have any starters..

The view was very nice and it was a very nice place to spend the evening for just the 2 of us without the boys... But the setback is that we find the service of the restaurant lacking though..

Shoo Shoo Fever

Lucas was down with fever on Friday morning and frankly, we had no signs nor warnings and it sneaked on him just like that..

As Mommy Me could not take leave on Friday, Daddy Sky brought Lucas to Doc Koh and he was taken care at ah gong n ah ma's house the whole day. His fever was yo-yo-ing up and down..

Today, Mommy Me kept him with me thinking that we could probably go Vivo to get a haircut if the fever subsides... Apparently, it din and we stayed at home the whole day..

I sometimes wonder why it is so difficult to get Lucas to put on the Kool Pad on his forehead.. He has to cover his forehead... =.=''
And cry when I put it on for him...
hmm, putting that on seems worse than getting him a jab... cannot understand sia...
