Funni faces

Like I said in my previous post, I am always amzed at what Bb Lucas can do from time to time..
This morning, after his poo poo incident, I was reading newspaper at the dining table and he was placed in his playpen..

He kept making noises towards my direction and when I turned to look, he actually placed his face on the mesh of his playpen and was smiling at me... ^^

His face was like squashed against the mesh, den when I laughed, he changed the position...

When I grabbed my camera, he moved away and refused to come near the mesh to re-enact the photo... ;-(

Back to the old days

With Daddy Sky away on his business trip, mommy Astin is back to the old days of sleepless nights..

I brought his milk powder, hot water and cool water into the bedroom so that I can make his milk at night fast enough... Been doing so for the past few nights liao... And this little notty putt putt every night wakes up every 2-3 hours for his milk...

As I din have to work today, I wanted to sleep in a little tiny while more... Guess wat Bb Lucas did, he pulled my hair, pinched my face and kicked me till i woke up!!!!

But he has a reason to do so, cos he poo-ed and he was veli uncomfy with the soiled diaper... In any case, he din cry to make me wake up.. He used his little actions to do so...

Mommy Astin to Bb Lucas: Ok, you are forgiven...

Terminal 3

Daddy Sky is away in China for the next 11 days due to trade conference.
Got up very early this morning to send him to the airport.
Brought Bb Lucas along.
Apparently, he seemed to know that Daddy Sky will be away and he din look quite happy. This was taken at the terminal 3 departure area...

Daddy Sky was carrying Bb Lucas all the way from home till airport while mommy me drove..
This is the first time Daddy Sky is away since Bb Lucas' birth.
Took a family photo before yeh yeh arrived at the airport... ^^

Today's class

Finally...

After almost 3 days of constipation, Bb Lucas finally poo poo yesterday.
He poo-ed 2 times at po po's house yesterday...

But hor, after he poo poo, his appetitie became veli good...

He drank milk at 8 pm, den latched on at 11 pm. Asked for milk again at 1 am and once again at 4.30 am....

Mommy me whole nite din get proper rest cos nid to keep waking up...

And best of it, he poo poo again this morning at 5 am... and on the way to po po's house, he poo again...

Looks like the mamil gold seems to be the culprit afterall...

Cannot poo poo

I start to feel stressed today...
From the picture above, I think most of you can guess as much..
Yup, Bb Lucas is having constipation..
He din poo poo for past 2 days.. today he poo-ed a bit but the poo made him cry badly...
Guess must be veli painful for him, he drank quite a lot of water and I have no idea why...
The only thing I can narrow down to is the mamil gold milk sample I am giving him...

Obstacle Course

From Bb Lucas' classes at Gymboree, I tried making some obstacle courses for him to climb and crawl on my bed. Saw him at it for a while and decided to video him... But this vainpot baby, once he spotted the camera, he tried to grab the camera instead...

Phone Fanatic

Bb Lucas loves the telephone, especially when he hears the phone ring...
Hmm, wonder if it is due to mommy me working in the call centre...

Today, po po called me to ask about something.
I could hear Bb Lucas screaming in the background.

Next thing he was pushed near the phone so that I could speak to him.
Then when po po took over, he started to scream again for the phone...
When he noticed that po po was not passing the phone to him, he started to pinch her...

Hmm, I am going to scold him when I fetch him tonight....

Funni Boi

I noticed recently Bb Lucas has a new funny habit of nudging his neck in order for himself to move towards the object that he wants to grab.

While taking this video, he also display his pretender skills by biting my fingers again.. Thought he wanted to just hold my hands but not lor, he was trying to drag them to his mouth for chewing.. hmph.

Anyway, aren't they supposed to learn to crawl now? But Bb Lucas din lei, he made use of his new skill to motor where ever he wants to... =.=''' so weird...

Scratching Head

I always find that I will learn something new about Bb Lucas almost every other day.
Discovered him scratching his head this morning.
I know it sounds funny, but not in my memory did I ever seen him scratching his head.
This is the first time lei.. Cute hor...

He looks like me too...

Took this photo before bringing Bb Lucas out for dinner.
Upon close inspection of the photo, I discover his eyebrows and nose resembles mine.
Hey, so he does look like me too... ^^

Throat Infection

Bb Lucas is having throat infection.. Haiz, is it the weather??
It seems he got better from his flu and after a couple of days, he is down with a sore throat..
Could not make much noise.. He must be in pain...

Poor bb, Mommy wished I could take over your sufferings... sob sob

I want my toys....

Bb Lucas is always trying to 'bite' his toys when I placed him in the excersaucer... So in order to prevent him from doing so, heehee, I placed a pillow between him and the toys.

I am not being notty hor, its because Bb Lucas grew pimples all around his mouth so we suspect its due to his saliva and toys.. Washed all his toys liao but want to play safe so we tried to block him...

U see, got one stage, he got sian when trying and rested a while... hahaha...

Towel Fun...

Mommy Astin is notty... C what I did to Bb Lucas again... He has to keep removing the hanky that I dumped on his face...

But hor, Bb Lucas has this habit of pretending to be scared of the hanky...I noticed a few times he will pretend to struggle den when he feels no one is around to take the hanky off his face, he will pull it off himself... =.=''''

What a GREAT pretender at this age...

Cant stop eating

Bb Lucas loves to eat..especially his baby food... See him enjoying his food...

On days when I am moody, I always (so far) feel better just looking at him... ^^

I want to drive too

This is what happens when we place Bb Lucas at the driver's seat. His hands auto touches the steering wheel... heehee, ready to go....

Flu again

Bb Lucas is showing signs of having flu... having teary eyes now... Sigh...
Will have to monitor his situation for the next couple days...
If still dun get well, will have to skip the baby shower on this coming Friday... ;-(

Daddy Sky was trying to take a video of Bb Lucas... Bb Lucas beat him to it and grab the camera before any proper video could be taken... v(^o^)

A new mum mum place

We discovered this new eatery called G7 Liang Kee Teochew Restaurant @ Havelock Rd.
Brought gong gong there for dinner today cos it's his birthday...
The food was not bad...
And for every $50, you get to order 1 promotional dish at $0.70.
We had Peking Duck, Duck with Ee-fu noodles, Fen Ge Soup, Sweet & Sour Fish with mango slices, cereal prawns, Duck Liver Balls, G7 Doufu & Fried Dou Miao.
That costs us $130.00.
We called at 545 pm to make a reservation but somehow the reservation was "missing".
The manager did a quick service recovery, came by to apologise and gave us a complimentary fruit platter.. ^^
Actually hor, I was not angry lor... hahaha, anyway, "earned" a fruit platter.
Go for the food, its good.. ;-p

A New Trick

Daddy Sky discovered that Bb Lucas has a new way of playing with his big purple ball...

Video got a few NGs lor cos Bb Lucas kept looking at the camera... ^^

After the few NGs, he finally got it right...

Seems ok so far...

Bb Lucas seems so far ok since his fall this morning..
This is a photo taken from his class at Gymboree..
He still enjoyed himself, except he turned very slowly and dun dare to flip fast.
And when I placed him in the stroller or carried him, he will grab on tightly..
I guess, he learnt his lessons..

Fall.... *Thud*

I feel I ought to get electrocuted.... Bb Lucas fell from the bed this morning...
Sigh, I put the rail of his right side and I slept on his left side.
Sounds fool-proof right...
But no lor, somehow he turned 90 degrees and fell from the bed...
His fall woke me from my sleep... And he was in shock for about 5 seconds.
Then he started brawling!!!
PD asked me to monitor him for 24 hours for signs of vomitting and drowsiness.
Hopefully, everything is ok...

Farewell??

I chose not to say farewell to all (as in email to whole department) when I left... Why?
Cos I believe in life, we will always still meet, cross paths and saying farewell dampens the spirits.
Here is the coffee machine that I bought with the taka vouchers given by my wonderful friends and colleagues.
I will remember all of you whenever I am sipping my coffee.

Sigh, downgraded from a semi-d to a HDB flat is like tat one...
