Visit to Seletar West Farmway

Even since Daddy Sky got himself a fish tank, he has been very actively sourcing online on fish farms with good buys..

He brought Lucas & Mommy Me today to the Seletar Way Farmway after his work... What a BIG place it is & despite the rain, there were many people who were there to buy gadgets & fishes.

Lucas was very excited seeing all the fish...
He was listening to Daddy telling him the type of fish.

Mommy Me was amazed to discover this!!!
Dun look at the price... Focus on the manta ray.... Faint... I din know that this can be bought off-shelf too...

Lucas has many trains, so many that Mommy dun really know how many there are...
Nonetheless, he poured out everything n arranged them with his daddy this morning (ya, at 7 am on a Sunday morning... =.='''')

Of course, he is the one who is the happiest...

Late Dinner

Mommy Me tried to jaga Lucas on my own after his Shichida Lesson again so that Ah Gong & Ah Ma can rest.

I gave him 2 options:

1. Wait for Daddy to come home before we go for dinner but that means dinner might be around 7.30 or 8 pm.
2. Do not wait for Daddy so that we can go for dinner around 6 pm.

Lucas chose Option 1 and we waited for Daddy to be back close to 7 pm.. We made our way to Ikea so that we could go to Tung Lok's Zhou Dining at Anchorpoint.. Bad mistake, we should have called beforehand to find out if there is any table available.

And besides that, the Q to the carpark was terribly long. We called up the outlet @ Far East Square and lucky there was table.. We quickly drove over but by then Lucas was getting nauseous & restless...

He threw up in the car before we reached Far East Sqaure and was a bit cranky.

But lucky he settled down when the food was served.
Still in the mood to feed himself..^^


The dinner was great though there was some hiccups on Mommy's & Daddy's part in planning a dinner...

But unfortunately, the night ended wrongly too cos there was a power trip at the carpark gantry and we were stuck at the gantry for close to 30 mins while the cars behind kept honking... =.='''
To make things worse, the security guards were not very sure what to do... Fainted...

Best Friend

Oh ya, I almost forgot to post this...

Cant Wait

As the CNY goodies piled up on the table, Lucas has been asking Mommy Me to give him some cookies.. Told him that it is for CNY and have to wait a couple more days..

At first, he acceded to my request to wait... Later, after drinking a bottle of water, he came to bargain with me to get one pineapple tart... =.='''

Mommy Me then decided to keep everything away from him... Hmph... ^^

Orange Juice

As it was nearing CNY, Mommy Me has already started laying out the mandarin oranges on the table...

To Lucas, this is a GREAT finding.. Check out what he does with the mandarin oranges...

Flu & Cough

For no reason, Lucas is down with flu and cough....
Where did it come from?
No one is sick at home and I did not give him any heaty stuff.
Even yesterday when we went out, I dressed him in long pants and sleeved top...
This is really sian... =.='''

After 1 night...

After the shopping on Sat, Lucas had a good night sleep and he woke up around 7++ am. He looked very happy and even when he was drinking his milk, he is full of smiles...
Looks like breaking my bones is worth it afterall... ^^

Outing with Just Mommy

Ever since Mommy Me is pregnant and Daddy Sky is busy with the CNY prep, Lucas has been staying at the grandparents' place on weekends. My poor parents have been spending a lot of time and energy jaga-ing Lucas cos it's pretty impossible for Mommy Me to manage Lucas alone while Daddy Sky's at work 7 days a week....

Since I felt much better except having a bigger tummy, I decided to bring Lucas home after his Shichida Class today. I brought him to Vivo alone to walk walk so that we can spend a bit more quality time just alone...

Lucas promised me that he will sit in the stroller and ask for permission before coming down and we will have our dinner outside before packing food home for Daddy.

First, we went to Toy R'Us and indeed, he asked permission to come down and we spent almost a good hour there playing with some of the toys... ^^

Next, we passed by Hush Puppies which was having a sale and Lucas said he wanted a polo tee and we got a matching one for Daddy as well. No point buying for Mommy Me since I will only wear it for another 4 months only...

Before dinner, we stopped by at the Pet Lovers' Centre looking at doggies and fishes and after looking at the animals, Lucas told me he wanted dinner... ^^

He ate a good slightly more than half a bowl of rice... Good appetite, son...

After dinner, we went to Giant to pick up some cereal and he fell asleep while I was packing dinner for Daddy Sky..

End of Day Verdict: While it is not that tough to manage Lucas on my own, but my legs are breaking from the walking instead... =.=''' Guess the weight of Lewis is giving me some problems afterall... Sigh...

Breakfast

Though there is breakfast provided at Lucas' childcare centre, Mommy Me will still prepare a light breakfast for Lucas.

It can be bread or cake or even cookies with a drink.

This morning, I made him a bear from bread and cheese and Daddy Sky took the photos below.
Looks like he does enjoy his breakfast... ^^

Full Day School

We decided to start Lucas on full day childcare this week so that Ah Gong and Ah Ma can have more rest in the day.

Day 1
Mommy Me picked up Lucas around 4pm and when he saw me, he broke into tears immediately... =.=''' Though Teacher said that he was ok throughout the whole day, I guess he has pent up emotions for the whole day... And worse, when it came to night, he had nightmares and woke up thrice..

Day 2
Mommy Me spent the whole morning giving Lucas prep talk and explained to him the need for him to be on full day school. He seemed to accept it. When I fetched him again at 4.30pm, he was happy and ran to get his bag which was in the toilet. He even explained to me that after he showered, he was sleepy so he left the bag in the toilet.. lolx...

Day 3
Mommy Me then decided not to fetch Lucas on the third day lest he expects me to do so daily.
I called home to check and he was ok. The teacher also sms-ed me that he was ok the whole day.


Hmm, shall see how it goes next week after one weekend...

Fever AGAIN!!!

Lucas is running a fever again!!! Why again??
Mommy Me has zero idea.. No heaty food for the whole week...
Hmm, but I did notice him salivating this afternoon at the Shichida class..
Are the final last 4 teeth coming out?? Or is it due to constipation cos he has not poo-ed poo-ed for 2 days??

Anyway, we made him poo by inserting the medication...
He was screaming while he poo-ed..
He kept telling me: Mommy, backside pain...

Aww.... Mommy knows... Sorry, Lucas..
We are trying to fix your fever problem... ;(

Mommy's Helper

As Lucas grows day by day, he is becoming a great help to me... I was telling him that the floor is dirty and I needed to just clean it, he immediately helped me and I must say, he is pretty detailed in cleaning... ^^


I feel blessed... ^^

Pie from Fruit Paradise (Vivo)

Mommy Me read that there is a milk powder promotion at Guardian... Lucas is drinking Gain IQ 3 which usually costs me about $63. Guardian is having a promotion where each tin is sold for about $58++...

Wasting no time, Mommy Me went down to Vivo to grab 4 big tins for Lucas...

Then Mommy Me got Lucas his supper from here... ^^

It's always wonderful to see him enjoying his food...

Update of Baby Lewis

Today is the detailed scan for Baby Lewis...
We were very excited to see Baby Lewis.. As Mommy Me just finished breakfast before the scan, Baby Lewis was very active throughout the scan...

He was punching and kicking away... My gynae was telling me he is such an active boi... ^^

Oh ya, after 5 months, Mommy Me finally putting on weight... As of now, I have put on 3 kg...

Hmm, I must control a bit.. cos my target is to just put on less than 10kg this round.. ^^

What A Way To Start The Year...

Yes, Lucas fell sick on the 2nd day of this week...
Fever & Cough came to visit him and stayed with him the whole week...
Basically, Mommy Me can't do much except to kick myself for giving him an overdose of heaty stuff over the New Year weekend..
Hey, it's meant to be a happy hols.. So I let him indulge a little.. (hmm, perhaps a bit too much)

But he is better today.. Hopefully, he can be back to school next week..

I must MAKE a mental note to watch what he eats this coming Chinese New Year... Now I better watch it...Else have to kick myself harder and still burnt hole in my wallet... =.='''
