Hand made puzzles

Lucas likes Thomas and Friends.. Hahaha, so in order to encourage him to do more jigsaw puzzles, Mommy Me hand made some puzzles today...

Got Daddy to print out the pictures and then I pasted them on mounting board before cutting them out... Ta-da, the end product...
p/s: Not forgetting my aching thumb n finger...

A Mind Of His Own

Lucas was asking for his trains when he came home this evening...
Daddy told him that he would give him the trains on one condition, that was, to change his diaper first..
Lucas simply refused and Daddy oso refused to fix the trains n tracks for him.
After a while, we peeped on him, he actually fixed up some tracks on his own...
When he turned n saw me taking photos, he looked up and said Cheese...=.='''

Make-up for Lucas

Lucas needed to perform for the childcare centre's year end concert...
Today is the full dress rehearsal @ DBS Auditorium.
His teachers have requested that I put on a layer of foundation for him and they will do the rest of the makeup....
OK, but when I picked him up after the rehearsal, I got a shock lor...

He can still pose a funny face for me when I was screaming...

I saw Baby waving!!!

Hmm, it all started cos I got some spotting on Sunday...
No idea why or how it happened...
Called the emergency number and spoke to my gynae who asked me to go down immediately this morning...
The clinic was pretty packed and I waited almost an hour to see her...
Gone through the usual checks but could not spot anything funny...
Gynae explained that this is usually common in 1st tri and probably due to the placenta trying to glue itself to the uterus.. Sounded chim to me...

Hahaha, but the cute part is that we could see baby again and baby is now doubled the size from the last checkup....
When the scan was being done, baby was waving to us..
Gynae commented that baby is attention seeking, lol, cos she could not detect anything seriously wrong with me....

Nonetheless, to play safe, I am put on bed rest for one week... That's the sian part...=.='''

Lucas' Belated Birthday Gift

It's finally HERE...

Lucas' birthday gift from Daddy and Mommy to celebrate his 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th birthdays...

Lol, way in advance for the next 3 years but veli belated for his 2nd birthday...

He was so excited when the delivery courier moved the boxes in and I had to keep him in the study while Daddy fixed up the bed for him...

A Perfect Solution

Lucas loves grapes but yet he din like the skin on them... so Gong-gong has to peel off the skin before feeding them to this troublesome boi..

We were at Taka when Mommy Me spotted the grapes from Korea. I remember this type of grapes, the skin will come off very easily... Woots...

Perfect solution for my grape-loving boi...

Well, just when I tot so, Daddy pointed out the seeds part to me.. Diaoz.. Not so perfect afterall.. ;(

Dinner @ Taka

Daddy needed to go Taka to buy vouchers as wedding gift for his business associate so we went to Taka to have dinner as well...

Hmm, the carpark @ Taka was rather empty.. We even managed to find seats in the foodcourt which was rare!!!

After running the errands, we took a short walk @ the supermarket and as Halloween was drawing near, there were plenty of pumpkins.. And Lucas managed to identify them...


Way to go, son!!!

Anniversary Dinner

Today is Daddy and Mommy's wedding dinner anniversary... And to celebrate Lucas' all cleared from HFMD, we decided to have dinner @ Saboten which is located at Parco Millenia..

I must say the Q is horrible and we Q-ed for almost 30 minutes before we can get a table...
Service was slow but the staff were all very polite though..
We ordered a twin set and Lucas was merrily helping himself to the cabbage... ^^
We took a short walk At Parco and when we were about to leave, Lucas saw people taking photos before this and insisted Mommy Me to take a photo for him...
p/s: While we were having dinner, grand-aunt Jessica called from Shanghai to ask about Lucas. Yes, Lucas is all well and veli active again... ^^

All Cleared!!!

Brought Lucas back to the PD this evening and was given all cleared...
He is ok liao!!! YAY...
And this also made Mommy ME more relieved... ^^

It's Confirmed!!!

Yes, it is confirmed that Lucas has HFMD...
Sigh... looks like it is going to be a trying next 5 days...
Praying for his speedy recovery and hopefully it does not get to me...

Shoo, shoo, FEVER!!!

Lucas was running a fever since yesterday...
Very headache and he claimed his mouth was painful...
Dunno is it HFMD... Sigh...

Lucky he is still veli active.. which means he is not tat sick...
Praying hard that it is his teeth coming out and not HFMD...

Shucks!!! I jus counted tat all his teeth are out... :(

Birthday Celebration ^^

Nah, not Lucas' one la.. It's Po-Po's birthday today and we celebrated it @ The Oasis Porridge last evening.

Food was not too bad and prices were moderate... For 9 of us, we spent about $190 with 10++ dishes and free flow of sweet potato porridge...

But busy Mommy Me had no time to take fotos cos was busy scooping porridge for Lucas who ate close to 1.5 big bowl... ^^

Good appetite, boi...

Polliwogs @ East Coast

While doing some research on where to bring Lucas for his birthday, I stumbled upon a mommy's blog where she listed all the places to bring children to...

Since we could not make it during Children's Day itself, we decided to bring Lucas to the place this morning....

There were 2 birthday parties going on and boi, the place was a bit packed... Lucas was a bit shocked at first but he soon warmed up and jumped into the pool of balls to play...
Then he attempted the slide on his own...

Even hide under the slide..

There are 2 areas in the place... 1 for toddlers and 1 for children above 2 years old..
Lucas first played in the toddlers' area cos Daddy Sky was concerned that the other area is too 'adventurous' for Lucas...
After 15 mins or so, Lucas was ready to explore...

After 1 hour, Daddy Sky sort of surrendered... Of cos the energy level in a child is endless... =.='''
We went to the ice cream store next door and Lucas sat on the chair enjoying the ice cream wafer...

Not a bad place for children...
But must be ready to have loads of energy cos the climbing up and down is dam tiring for adults...
Daddy Sky said if he goes again, he will sure lose weight for sure...

Rice or Noodles??!!

Lucas woke up from his afternoon nap and told me he was hungry...
Ok, told him that I will prepare fried rice for him.. He ok-ed it....
Half-way while I was frying the rice, he shouted over the gate: Mommy, mian mian (noodles pls)...
Huh... I told him I fried rice liao... Den he still went on with his mian mian request...

Last straw, told him I have no mian mian at home and will bring him to eat noodles after visiting Nai-nai in the hospital... Then he was willing to eat his rice above... =.='''

What a fickle-minded boi....

Dinner @ Bishamon (Great World)

To round off Luca's birthday celebration, we had a cake (agar agar cake) ceremony @ Gong-gong's house...
He was so happy to have all the yi-yis singing the Happy Birthday song for him...

He even attempted to cut the cake on his own.. But we decided to hold his hand instead...
Then we brought him for a simple dinner @ Great World City.. Meant to go Ichiban Boshi but the Q was so long... We ended up at Bishamon... ^^
He chose this kiddy menu on his own...
And was busy eating his rice...
P/s: Prior to this, when we were in the car, I told him i will order noodles for him and he kept going NO, I WANT RICE!!! =.='''' So persistent and insistent with his rice.. buay tahan...

Morning Breakfast @ Cova

Since it is Lucas' birthday today, Mommy Me took leave to accompany him..
Brought him to breakfast @ Cova...
There was a mother-daughter behind our table and Lucas was laughing at the little baby girl who kept waving her food at Lucas...

When bread was served, he was so excited...
And swiped off the croissant from Daddy Sky's plate:

While eating his biscuit, he was looking at the display and asking me for their tarts... Piangz...
Told him to drink his water before I got the waiter to serve the dessert plate... ^^
Ta-ta, I chose all his usual favs...
But what's surprises us is that when Mommy Me asked for a candle to be placed on the mini mango cake above, the manager brought us a slice of mango cake with a candle and told us that it was on him.... so sweet of him...
(And once again, Daddy said Cova's service is realli wonderful...)
We sang Lucas' the birthday song...
Before we left the restaurant, another manager gave Lucas a heart shaped chocolate and Lucas was delighted...
Before we could leave the place, Lucas pestered me to buy for him the last train from the original Thomas and Friends song.. He was short of Toby..
So he kept telling me in the car: Mommy, buy Toby for Lucas pls..." x more than 10 times
Ok, your wish has been fulfilled... ^^
