He remembers...

Continuation from the earlier post....

After Lucas went to bed, Daddy quickly kept the box of toys..

This morning, when Lucas woke up, he went to the study to ransack the boxes...

Under his breath, he mumbled:

• Percy & Thomas, where?
• From Auntie Cynthia
• Missing

Wah, he actually remembered that the toys are from Auntie Cynthia and of cos, remembered that he was playing them the night before... =.='''

With an attitude

Auntie Cyn gave Lucas a box of Thomas and Frens' toys for his 2nd birthday.. As it needed assembling and space to lay the tracks, we kept them for once in the blue moon playing..

Yesterday, Lucas ransacked the cupboard and saw the box... Insisted Mommy and Daddy to take it out for him to play...

Check out what happened:

Lucas: Daddy, Bob the Builder, fix it..
Daddy: Ok.... (Daddy set up everything for Lucas)

After a couple of minutes...
Daddy: Ok, you are messing it up... I am not going to fix it liao...

Lucas ran out of the study and to the living room...
Daddy followed by Mommy...
Lucas was lying on the sofa and sniffing... =.=''''

Win liao, after a minor scolding from Daddy, he actually ran to the sofa to cry.. Faintz...

Meet & Greet Thomas the Train

Auntie Ching informed Mommy Me that there is a Meet & Greet Session for Thomas the Train @ Milenia Walk...
The actual session starts at 1 pm.. But Mommy Me was not certain of what's or how's going to be.. So we went slightly earlier.. Gosh, when we reached around 12 noon, there were about 15 families waiting around for the session to begin...

There was a little booth selling Thomas' toys and that got Lucas excited... He started to run around the toys and looking at every single box... Then he tried to bring 1 box to Daddy Sky to test the water and see if Daddy will buy for him...

After a while, Daddy Sky finally bought him a box with the latest character - Hiro... =.='''

About 30 mins before the show began, they started to give out the photo opportunity ticket... Lucky Mommy Me was standing the right queue and we got a ticket... The next 20 minutes was headache cos we need to make Lucas settle down as he was getting restless from sitting on the floor..
Finally, when the show started, wow, the children were so loud... Lucas was a bit stunned and din react much to the songs... =.=''' Tok bout needing time to warm up...

Anyway, he was excited to get on stage to get a photo with his fav Thomas... ^^

Self-explanatory Video

Somewhat resist to fall sleep... =.=''

Fever, then Sore Throat...

Lucas started falling sick since Monday evening..
First onset of the fever, then came the sore throat yesterday...

Went to Doctor Koh on Tuesday evening and yesterday one more time...
To relieve his breathing, he is put on the nebuliser machine for 3 days...

Of cos, Lucas resisted to put on the mask at first but he realised all fail, he just guai guai hold the mask to his own nose and mouth...

Pls get well soon, darling...

First Performance

I must say Mommy Me was beaming with pride when I saw my boi performing on stage..
It was the childcare centre's annual graduation ceremony..

When the children were performing on stage, Mommy Me was telling myself how talented every single one of them are.
It was realli not easy for all these children (between 2 - 6 yrs old) to dance and sing and recite for their parents and grand-parents, who I am sure, are beaming with pride looking at their children/grand-children performing...

Of course, the credit goes to all the teachers for putting in the time and efforts in making this happen...




He is so adorable... ^^

The last item for the graduation ceremony was the Grand Finale where all the children will gather on stage to take photos and wave to their parents & grandparents...

Lucas was checking out the situation behind the curtains...
He was sitting down and then he started to get up to walk around...
Then when he spotted Mommy Me, (who have been hiding away from him the whole evening) he started to walk towards me... His teacher actually came out to stop him cos haven taken group photo...
But he struggled to break free and continued to come towards me...
Ya, so in the end, I had to carry him away.. In fact, the whole evening, I was trying to hide from him cos I know he will not cooperate when he sees me..

But towards the end, I could not resist taking his photos just off the stage so I moved a bit too close and so close for him to spot me.. =.='''

See there was no photos taken during the time @ DBS...

When we reached home, he said he wanted to press the honk... ^^



We ended up taking photos at home cos Lucas was clinging to Mommy Me at DBS..

Daddy's Birthday (Part 2)

As part of Daddy's birthday celebration, we went to Ion Orchard's Marmalade Pantry...

Firstly, the parking was horrible.. We spent 15 mins going from floor to floor and no parking.. Then we finally found valet parking on the 8th floor, it was full...=.='''

The person informed us to exit the carpark and re-enter for the valet parking on the 5th floor... =.=''

Ok, we did tat.. phew, at least the parking was settled.. Next, we got to the restaurant..
Service was not bad and the food was nice indeed...(as recommended by Mommy's colleagues)...

Jus when things seemed fine, then came the billing which was a disappointment cos we wait for a mysterious 10 mins whiting for our bill n card...=.=''

Overall, the experience was not bad minus the payment part...

Daddy's Birthday

Today is Daddy's birthday but we (as in only Mommy & Daddy only) celebrated one round @ Let's Sweet Dessert Buffet @ Bugis...

Mommy's colleagues were telling me that it is not suitable cos its dessert n Mommy Me dun have sweet tooth.. Hahaha, but its for Daddy Sky who loves sweet stuff mah...

Anyway, they have a portion of savory food and quite a number of dessert... Not too bad.. But I din like the idea of eating buffet in 60 mins.. A bit too rush for me...

Fetching Daddy

Daddy Sky was coming home yesterday..
Mommy Me arranged to go off earlier to fetch him and Ye-ye from the airport...
Ah Gong and Ah Ma suggested to bring Lucas to the airport and Mommy Me thought that was a good idea..
Mommy Me had meeting all the way till 430pm so Ah Gong brought Lucas to Mommy at the office so that Mommy Me can go off to the airport from office...

When Lucas reached the office, he was so scared to enter.. Hahaha, after a while, he sort of warmed up and took photos with Mommy's colleagues...


Then from the office, we went to the airport... Lucas was allowed to run in the airport freely...

YAY.. Once Again

YAY, Once Again, I made it.. (Of cos with the help from Ah gong, Ah ma and Da Da Ah Yi)...

Daddy Sky is coming home tonight.. Yippee...

Missing Appetite

This is how Mommy Me has been feeling for the past 8 weeks.. No appetite for food...

The new addition to the family is causing me to have sleepless nights and loss of appetite...

It's a miracle that I can still put on 500g today when I went back for my checkup... =.='''

Amazed by snow

We went Great World for dinner this evening and when we were walking past a store, this was the display that caught Lucas' attention.

For a couple of minutes, he was glued to the display, yes, a machine that auto-dispense 'snow'...
He was so amazed by it that he just stood that and stared at it instead of looking at the camera...
We had to coax him to leave as he wanted to stand there and look on...

Stronger than Ever

Lucas was drawing with my coloured pens when he suddenly went oh-oh..
He immediately ran to Mommy Me to show me what he had done... =.='''
How could he have done this??!!
I cannot comprehend lei...
He managed to apply so much pressure to the pen that the tip bent until this manner..

4 More Days to Go

Counting down the number of days before Daddy Sky is back...

All thanks to Ah Gong, ah Ma and Da Da Ah Yi for helping Mommy Me, else its pretty impossible for me to cope with Lucas alone...

We went for a simple but nice dinner last night. The same eating house opposite Central which Mommy Me forgotten to take photos the last Sunday evening...

Check out the plate that they are using.. So nostalgic...
Ah Ma said she used to have this at home.. lolx..
Though the eating house is pretty big, the number of serving staff is a handful which means the food will take a little longer to serve.. But hey, they dun have service charge so that makes up for that...
The above only cost us $40 for 4A and 1 toddler... Oh ya, it includes 4 drinks and 4 plain rice... ^^

I want to GO HOME!!!

Ah gong n Ah ma said not to let Lucas go home last night so that Mommy Me can rest..
So I was drawing trains for Lucas with him sitting next to me...
Check out this conversation:

Me: You want to sleep here tonight?
Lucas: No, go home now.. I wear shoe shoe..
Me: .....

Ran off to get his shoes and sat down to put them on...

Then Lucas stood at the door and waited for me to pack his stuff to go home... ^^

Sudden FEVER!!!

Ah Gong and Ah Ma stayed over for the night as Daddy was outstation and Mommy Me needed some help...
In the middle of the night, Ah Ma woke me up to say Lucas was running a high fever and shivering away...
We rushed him to KKH and when he alighted, he puked all over Ah Gong...
Then when it was almost his turn to see the doctor, he puke all over Ah Ma...
Oh god, what is happening, man...
We had to hang around in the Children's Emergency for an hour and he was screaming away whenever Ah Ma sponged him...

p/s: Mommy Me is now going to get ready to go to work... Probably will take the afternoon off instead...

Jingle Bells....

Daddy Sky was outstation so Mommy Me brought Lucas and the rest out for dinner @ a eatery house opposite Central.. The food was cheap and good... Hahaha, but we forgot to take photos!!!

Diaoz, after the dinner, we went to Central to walk around.. Boring mall... Just when we were planning to leave, we saw a gigantic Xmas tree outside and Lucas wanted to take photos immediately..
He was into singing the Xmas songs lately.. Hmm, Xmas is still a month plus away but he is all ready to celebrate... ;-p
