First Birthday Celebration in Skool

Lucas' childcare centre has a Children's Day celebration...
The teachers were asking if the parents could contribute some foodstuff for the celebration...
Since Mommy Me was on leave, why not?? ^^
Got up at 5++am to prepare this little mini cocktail with pineapple..
Tot they looked a little plain so added some seaweed deco to them... ^^
After dropping Lucas and the food @ the centre, Daddy and Mommy Me rushed to Upper Serangoon road to pick up Lucas' cupcakes for the little party that we will be having in skool.
The place dam tough to find... ;(
But lucky we managed to collect the cakes but it started to rain heavily...
Aiyo, dam headache...
When we reached the skool, Lucas had already finished his lunch and was veli excited to see me... ^^
The teacher helped us take a family shot...
Then all the children gathered to sing the Happy Birthday song to Lucas...
We then had to distribute the cakes to everyone and oh my, it was such a messy situation..
I had to make sure every child gets one...
At the end of everything, Daddy Sky is oredi exhausted... hahaha
Side-story 1: Quite a number of parents brought hotdogs.. The teacher told me Lucas actually helped himself to the hotdog from his friend's bowl... =.=''

Side-story 2: As there was quite a number of hotdogs, the teacher did not distribute the hotdogs that I make at lunch. Some kids gathered at the food table and wanted to help themselves to the hotdogs. Lucas dashed over and told them: No, Mommy made.. No!!! =.='''
He actually din allow other kids to touch the hotdogs..
Aiyo, I took one and gave it to him... Then he was willing to stop 'guarding' the hotdogs...

First Birthday Gift

Lucas received his 1st birthday gift this year...
He was veli excited to see a big box on the coffee table in the hall...

In Prep for the BIG Day

Lucas' birthday is drawing nearer....

For Thursday, we will be having a mini celebration in school... I have ordered 50++ mini cupcakes for the little party...

His will be in blue theme... ^^

As for the actual cake, I have placed an order for this agar agar cake below:

Aiya, but haven received any confirmation.. Must call the person to confirm later... ^^

More Toys to Add to My Collection!

Mommy Me wanted to help Lucas complete his Thomas & Friends collections...
Lolx... dunno how many hundreds of trains there are lor...
Anyway, bought one more train - Emily today... N Mommy likes this helicopter from the story as well...

Clean Up

It's a daily ritual for Lucas to clean up his toys before he goes to bed..
So yesterday, while he was cleaning up, instead of the clean up song, he sang the A-B-C song...


Anyway, he din finish his clean up cos he ended up sorting his toys.. N grab those to go to bed with him instead...
He then insisted Mommy Me to finish the clean up for him!!!
Eeks... Lazy putt...
Somemore still can watch TV while cleaning up...

This morning we went Vivo for breakfast... After breakfast, bought him a wassant.. He held it in his hand and din take any bite.. So when we got home, I took it away and he start to brawl...
Tried to reach for it from the dining table and when it failed, he started to look for Daddy to help..

New Toy Train

Ye-ye and Nai-nai bought Lucas a toy train from their Taiwan holidays...
Lucas was veli excited with the toy train...
Asked him to strike 3 poses for me with the train:
Disturb putt putt... Strike 1 close eye pose for me... ;-p

Loot in my bag

Lucas insisted Mommy Me bring my Neverfull to work today.. and my bag was so much heavier cos he put 3 trains n his Barney plush in my bag!!!

Mommy Me had wanted to eat the malay rice @ the foodcourt @ Harbourfront.. Hmph, but it was closed today.. so sad... ;-(

So we popped back to Vivo and ate Ajisen Ramen... As Lucas was still having a bit of cough, we asked a glas of warm water for him.. and plus a straw too..

The rest of us had cold water and Lucas wanted our cold water... -.-'''

So he kept trying his luck and asked the waiter for straws...
He was playing with his new trains..and when he saw the waiters walked past, he immediately turned to them and said kor-kor, straw pls..


But too soft, they cannot hear... ;-p

Barney Show @ Expo

Dun understand why children love Barney... Same goes for Lucas... He loves Barney so when he saw the commercial on TV, he got veli excited... And since Cynthia oso wanted to go watch the show and she has HSBC card, she helped to book the tickets..
Lucas enjoyed the show pretty much but got a little restless half way through..But overall, still not too bad..
Lucas got himself a barney plush while Arielle got herself the spinning light...

Our Lunch Today

With all the bento making breakfast, Mommy Me accumulated some cheese... So guess I have to use them up in one way or another.. Macaroni with cheese should be the easiest to use all all the odds... ^^

And after polishing all the peas on his plate, he started to 'attack' my plate!!! Seizing every pea in sight... =.='''

Bento Fun - - Bunny!!!

I made a quick breakfast yesterday morning, cutting out a bird.. but I was lazy to place eyes on it.. So when Lucas saw it, he said its a banana... =.=''' Despite me repeating that it is a bird, he kept telling me that it was a banana...

Ok, decided not to busy today.. See my bunny... Got eyes.. Hmm, let's see what he will say later... ^^

Yo-yo-yo

It is our usual Sunday affair to go for breakfast and then grocery shopping @ Giant...As it was raining and pretty cold this morning, Mommy Me picked out a thicker set of clothes for Lucas..

After I showered him, I tasked Daddy Sky to dry and change him while I washed up.. just when I was done, Daddy took Lucas into my room and said he refused to wear the set of clothes I had picked out for him..

So I took Lucas and went into his room and asked him if he was going to change into the set of clothes.. He said 'Dun wan"... Then I told him 'Fine, will give them away..."

Immediately, ran over and hugged me and asked me to put it on.. After he was done, I told him it looked so hip-hop and he should wear a cap.. And he agreed to put on one... Vainpot... =.='''

Bento Attempt #1

This is my first attempt... The fishes are made from cheese and the eyes from Nori...
Lucas polished off everything except the sausage octopus and the carrot bits..
Hmm, guess not too bad afterall... ^^

Bento Tools

Mommy Me plans to start on making bento meals for Lucas... Been sourcing around for the tools but so expensive!!!

Then read a blog that I could get some from Daiso.. since I managed to get half a day off today, I went to Daiso to check out the items..
Real cool, they have so many things and only cost $2 each!!! Mommy Me took so many items and gosh when I got to the cashier, I realised I took 25 items!!! WAH!!!!

Check out my loot above... But veli excited.. Shall try my hand at doing this weekend...

Sticker Book

Mommy Me saw this spree on SMH selling sticker books for children.. Can mix and match to create your own ice cream... Got Lucas one.. Check out his creation...
When he was doing this, he was going yummy.. and pile one page of stickers onto the page... So cute, isn't it??
