Butterflies in my tummy

Lucas was be starting childcare tomorrow.. I have gotten ready all his stuff.. But will he be able to start his first day smoothly?? Have I prepared him enough?? Many questions going in and out my head..

Now I start to get worried...

Cot, once more

We brought the playpen out again to see if Lucas will want to sleep in it... When he saw it, he immediately indicated that he wanted to go in. Then asked for milk... Hmm, let's see if he would sleep in it tonight.. If yes, then Daddy Sky can kiss goodbye to sleeping on the floor.. Poor Daddy..

Mommy's Birthday

As Mommy Me had already sort of celebrated my birthday with the HK trip, did not plan any special for the actual day... In fact, we only had a lunch @ Carnivore.. Cos Mommy Me missed the meat and pineapple from this Brazillian Restaurant..
So we had a buffet lunch at this restaurant @ Vivo.. Few years back, Daddy Sky first brought me to this restaurant @ Chjimes.. Since then, I adore their food... ^^
After the lunch, Daddy needed to pick up more items for his new toy... Yes, here is his new toy:
He had been staying up late for the past couple of nights planting 'grasses' in his new fish tank... But as the number of 'grasses' he bought the first round was too few, we needed to pick up more...
And not forgetting getting about 10 fishes to try out the water environment in this tank.. Daddy explained in great details (=.=''') why he needed some 'commando' fishes in his new tank...

p/s: B-o-r-i-n-g... His only audience is .... Lucas who will excitedly go 'fish-鱼-fish-鱼' while Mommy Me took cover... @.@

Afternote: In case you guys are wondering where is the cake... Me too... Hahaha... But it appeared in my fridge today, one day late... =.='''

Daddy explained that he wanted to buy when we were at Vivo yesterday but cos Lucas was a bit cranky, we had to leave in an hurry...
Ok, saving grace is it is a MANGO cake... Yummy...

Vesak Day

Today is Vesak Day.. As part of the yearly affair, Mommy Me must go to the Siam temple at Jalan Bukit Merah to pray for family safety and happiness... ^^

Meant to wake up at 4 am to go praying cos nid to avoid the crowd of temple goers.. But as Daddy Sky was busy the whole night (will blog his new toy later), and only went to bed at 4am..

Mommy Me decided to let them sleep a little later and woke them up at 6am instead...See both sleepyheads... =.='''

This will sum up my entire HK trip... I have sorted all the photos.. About 400++ of them and selected a few of my FAV photos...

Photo 1: Lucas is sleeping.. hush hush... Lucas had been sleeping pretty well throughout this trip... In fact, he will knock out from 9pm and sleep all the way till 7am the next morning.. So Mommy Me got to sleep well too.. ^^
Photo 2: Lucas and his remote control... My dear TV addict... First thing he laid his hand on in both hotels is the remote control.. hmm... A crouch potato in the making... OH NO!!!!
Photo 3: Lucas luv songs... And he made me sing songs to him while walking out of the Central MTR... Though pple were looking at me, heck it... hahaha..

Mommy Me had earlier planned to stay in the City Hotel for 3 nights... But at Daddy's insistence, we stayed one night at Disneyland Hotel.. Sometimes, Mommy Me needs a nudge from Daddy and the end result is always better than expected... ^^

HK Hols - Day 4 aka LAST DAY

Last day of our trip.. sob sob.. Why are holidays always so short-lived??!!

Since we did not take a good look at our hotel yesterday, we decided to take a short walk in the morning, while waiting to have breakfast with the Disney Characters... ^^
Lucas was very excited at first to see the characters.. But as they got close to him, he started to get scared... =.='''
After breakfast, Daddy Sky said we shall check out Ngo Ping 360 where the big Buddha is.. So we took a cab to the cable car station...
The ride was pretty scary... But Lucas enjoyed himself while Mommy Me cringed on my seat... hahaha...
After a long ride of 30 mins and thousands of thumping in my heart, we finally reached....
The views were so nice but when I looked up the flight of steps, I want to take flight... hahaha.. Daddy Sky encouraged me to go up together while Lucas kept saying 'up-up-up'...
Then it was time to leave.. Oops, we were late for our checkout... Run....

We managed to reach the hotel around 1pm.. Already planned in our heart to request for late checkout and pay another half day charge..

Again, Disney surprised us by waiving the charges and requested us to vacate the room by 2.30pm... Cool..
After a good shower, we decided to go back to the park and re-took a couple of rides...
We had dinner @ Maxim again.. Daddy quite enjoyed the food there... ^^

Then, it was time to say goodbye.. HK, thanks for the wonderful times.. It is really fun and we enjoyed ourselves.. Though my ankles are hurting even when I am still typing now... ^^

HK Hols - Day 3

Disneyland, here we come.. muhahaha.. 3 years ago, I spent my birthday in Toyko Disneyland..Had a very good experience so was looking forward to the one in HK. Though heard it was much smaller, was oredi good enuff for me, bearing in mind I have Lucas with me.. ^^

We reached the hotel and were very pleased to hear that they had auto upgraded the room to a sea-view for us.. (Due to the Citibank Visa Promo) But as the room was not ready, we could only check in at 3pm.

But nonetheless, we could go to Disneyland first.. woots..
Lucas was so excited.. He kept pointing to Mickey everywhere and went 'mouse'!!!
First stop, Tomorrowland, Lucas showed his signature go-go-go!!! ^^
After 2 rides at Tomorrowland, we hit the Fantasyland... Took the Mad Hatter's ride first..
Took a quick bite before checking out the Small Small World..
By then, Lucas was getting a little sleepy so we got back to the hotel to check out our room..
Lucas took a short nap and we were back again.. Taking rides ^^
But before that, we met up with the street parade..
As everyone was gathering on the streets, we walked faster to get to the popular rides..
Then the jungle cruise...
Then, we had dinner at Maxim Restaurant.. Cool cantonese food..Since everything was expensive in Disneyland, we figured that this was the best value for money...

Then we headed back to the hotel and Lucas fell asleep in the baby cot.. Oh ya, speaking of the cot, Lucas actually liked the cot a lot.. Hmm, he din want his own at home lor... =.='''
