Lucas 'draws' on his magnetic board and brought it to me... He said, "Ma-mee, see, ish..."

Look where we found Lucas.... He actually managed to climb his way here to the top of the cabinet by stepping on his drawer... FAINT... How many pairs of eyes and hands must I have to jaga this ACTIVE boy???!!!!

Super Busy Day

Today is a super long day for us...

Stop 1: Upper Paya Lebar - To pray to Daddy Sky's grandpa..

Was super crowded with everyone rushing for the Qing Ming Festive... Took us 2 hours to get there, have breakfast then reach the temple...

Stop 2:
From Auntie Ching's post, Mommy realised that there is an on-going Crocs Sale @ Expo.. Been wanting to get us Crocs.. But original prices are a GREAT deter...
Check out our loot... All for less than $120... 2 pairs for Lucas; 2 pairs for Mommy, 1 pair for Daddy and lotsa jibbits...
Lucas immediately wanted to wear...

Stop 3: We went to NUH to visit Mommy's nanny who just had an op on her knee cap..As Lucas fell asleep on the way, we left him in the car with Daddy Sky.. Visiting was pretty strict.. They only allowed 2 visitors @ one time...

Then we went home... We spent 6 hours outside today.. Now Mommy Me is preparing dinner.. Tired...

Monkey Bread

My colleagues went to Poon Huat for baking classes and shared the recipe with me.. So I attempted to make the Monkey Bread.. Well, I am never a fan of BREADs.. But I have 2 dough-boys at home lor... Ya, Daddy Sky & Lucas.. Both of them LOVE bread....

Running Around

Mommy Me needed to go Vivo to do some stocking up.. So we asked 公公 and 婆婆 to go along since at the same time, we can take lunch too.. Went to our fav Jpot.. (as usual..)

After lunch, we let Lucas run about at Vivo.. He was happily running to and fro the directions stand.. While Mommy Me was so worried that he will lang-ga into them... =.='''

I am NOT leaving until

We went to Vivo earlier today and cos the place is much bigger, we let Lucas walk on his own... We were walking around until we were somewhere around The Cocoa Trees.. Lucas walked into the shop and refused to come out.. When we tried to carry him out, he started wailing.. Diaoz... =.='''

The sales rep was quite nice, offered him a piece of choco.. Immediately, he was willing to leave the shop... Hmm, how did he know that there was choco in there??!! @.@""

爷爷的生日

It was 爷爷's birthday yesterday. We had dinner @ Orchard Hotel... The food was not too bad... We reached at 6.30pm but everyone was late... =.=''' So Daddy & Lucas self entertained by posing photos for me.. hah...

Time for another haircut

It's time for Lucas' haircut again.. but we know Auntie Wendy is going Japan this month for her training.. So Mommy Me had wanted to try out the haircut at Toy R'Us... Despite Daddy's protests, we went anyway.. Hee..

If you all recall, Lucas is pretty upset everytime we go for haircut.. N needs to be carried.

Ta-da... Nice nice.. Although a bit ex, cos us $20... But we quite like the service and the look... The auntie was pretty patient too... And most importantly Lucas sat throughout...

Disney on Ice 2010

Verdict: So-so... hahaha, but no worries, Mommy Me not too disappointed.. Cos we will be going to HK Disneyland in May so still looking forward to playing the rides...

Ok, as Daddy was not sure what we could eat for dinner.. We tabao Mac on the way to the Singapore Indoor Stadium...Lucas was dying to get out of the car but we were still eating..
The tickets that were offered to my company's staff at corporate rates and the seats were not too bad for the price I paid.. Q-ing to get in... Both Daddy & son veli excited.
Mommy Me made Lucas put on his sweater in case it gets cold.. But within minutes from the show started, he made me take it off cos he was getting warm..
Lucas was amazed with the toys he saw at the booths selling them.. Relax, my boy... You will see MORE in May.. Trying to get shots and keeping Lucas occupied before the show started...

The cups that I wanted veli much but Daddy refused to let me buy.. In his exact words, you can buy them in HK Disneyland in May.. There will be more for you to buy... =.='''

Excited Mommy

Ya, Mommy Me is veli excited now cos we will be watching Disney on Ice at 7 pm today.. Will be bringing Lucas along.. not sure if he will enjoy but it's the FIRST time Mommy Me is watching.. N definitely I am veli excited... Heehee..Realli looking forward to watching it.. ;-p

I prefer your food

Lucas was supposed to eat his porridge while Mommy Me was preparing the dinner in the kitchen.. Daddy Sky was having a lot of trouble feeding him...After I was done with our simple dinner, I tried to feed him instead but to no avail.. He kept pointing to my plate... .

Which Childcare??

Mommy Me was having this REAL BIG headache for the week.. Thinking of sending Lucas to a half day childcare but the QUESTION is which one??!!!

So took half day off yesterday afternoon to check out the NurtureStar @ Safra, Mount Faber.. Daddy Sky said it is not ideal cos the place is newly started... Teachers look inexperienced...

Ok, since we are on our way for lunch @ Depot. We went to check out Zion Kids.. Looks similar to NurtureStar and anyway, they are more ex... $550 for FD while the earlier one was $480 for FD...

Then Daddy Sky said to go SarbanaOne to check out Learning Vision since we have been passing by the one @ Cecil Street. Called them but they said they cannot entertain us today.. We went anyway, harh.. Thinking to get the contacts and brochures and see if can take a quick peep...

Bingo, there was a birthday celebration going on so I managed to sneak in to take a quick peep... Looks GREAT... So Daddy Sky said to call the principal later and ask... Then we went on our way back and we saw this on our way home...Cos I was real tired... I said nah, call Learning Vision... So once I got home, I called Learning Vision.. Fee is $550 for SarbanaOne but the waiting list is ONE YEAR!!! diaoz... The Cecil Street has vacancies but the fee is $600 =.='''

Then I recall this real BIG place that we saw earlier on our way home... Called them up.. BINGO, they have vacancy for Lucas in June and the fee is $400.. And asked if I can go visit immediately, they said YES.. Environment is new... though they were not new.. They were the childcare that was previously occupying the current space @ Safra, Mt Faber..

Daddy Sky was pleased with this.. ^^

Yay, Lucas is going to skol skol... Hopefully it will turn out well...

Dim Sum @ 自然酒楼

Second Peh-peh told Daddy Sky that there is an eating place @ Lengkok Bahru which sells quite good zhi char..We surfed around and discovered that they have Dim Sum in the morning so we decided to check them out.. Lucas all ready to start eating... First we have the porridge..

Then the rest of the Dim Sum arrived, all pretty fast even though the place was three-quarter filled...

Not too bad for the place.. Guess dim sum not realli their specialty.. Shall check out the zhi char one of these days.. In case you guys also want to check it out, here are the details:
