A Little Breakfast

Mommy Me noticed that some kids will bring breakfast to the centre even though breakfast will be served around 8 - 9am...

Though Lucas will usually take a yogurt before going to the centre, Mommy Me sometimes will let him bring along some buns so that he can be more full... And he has been enjoying this little privi for a couple of weeks...

As Mommy Me been studying those bento kits and got a couple of cookie cutters at home, so had my first attempt this morning to cut out a Mickey Mouse bread for him...

Ta-da... My veli first Mickey Mouse Bread with Butter and Sugar... (Ya, he likes his bread this way...) Of cos, the flip side is the leftover bread which Mommy Me has to eat.. else such a wastage..

Dirty Job

Parenting is a dirty job... Ya, I got this thought early this morning when I wiped Lucas' puke... =.='''

Other than cleaning their poo poo and their after meal mess, this is the first time that I have to clean a merlion puke...

He was coughing and out of a sudden, I heard Daddy say Mommy quick help while I was in slumberland..

Jumped out of bed to clean up the mess... Yucks.. Realli horrible..After vomiting, he only went back to bed at 4 am... I am so sleepy now.. zzz...

Yummy Dinner

Ye-ye and Nai-nai came for dinner last night... So Mommy Me cooked claypot rice, fried kailan, fried onion egg with shrimp and peanuts chicken feet soup..
Way before Ye ye and Nai Nai reached, Lucas saw me setting the table around 6.30pm and he immediately ran to me: Mommy, rice!!! =.=''''

In case you wondering, he just had his porridge around 5pm++.... Piang, told him have to wait for the guests before we can start.. Then he ran to the kitchen and asked for his personal spoon...
After that, he ran back to the dining area and asked for rice again...

This went on for 10 mins until I raised my voice that he had to wait.. Then he went back to the study to play with his toys... Ha... So must act fierce den can ah...

Anyway, the moment Ye ye and Nai nai came, he wanted to shift his high chair to the dining table and wanted rice...

He ate another 1/3 bowl of rice and plenty of soup... ^^

What's gratifying is that the moment he drank the soup, he immediately told everyone that it's good... so sweet right...

p/s: Of cos, it's good. I spent 6 hours boiling it slowly lei... ^^

Yummy Treats

Mommy Me stumble upon a seller on SMH offering durian swiss roll and banana swiss roll..

Since Daddy Sky is not a fan of durian, we had to settle for banana...At the same time, I spotted this agar agar Ang Gu Kueh... ^^

So I pestered Cynthia to spam her mailing list of colleagues who might be keen to get them so that we can make them deliver...

Ta-da, we polished a box of the kueh in office and one swiss roll (durain)... yummy!!!

I just ate the banana swiss roll and it's yummy too... But a little on the expensive side.. other den that, the fruits are fresh and the sponge cake is soft... ^^

Long vs Short Pants

Lucas' childcare teacher said that his pants are way too long and may cause him to trip... She suggested that I get the pants altered or shortened...

So I told myself, its ok, just do some simple hems to make it shorter.. When he grows taller, I can just remove the hems...

Yes, the perfect formula to fall sick... After taking all of the above last Sun, Lucas is sick again...

Last Sunday, we were supposed to have dinner with Yeye and Nainai.. But as Mommy Me was not feeling well, so Daddy Sky took Lucas to the dinner...

Without Mommy around, Lucas ate whatever he wanted... Ta-da, he is now sick... =.='''

Can hear how 'blocked' his nose and chest are whenever he is sleeping... ;(
