Red Angry Bird

Daddy Sky actually planned to celebrate Mommy Me's birthday over the weekends over a couple of dinner since we cannot celebrate on our own. But since Lucas was running a high fever the night before, we decided to stay at home and Mommy Me shall cook my own favourite food.

Lucas was knocked out after his Shichida class and when he woke up, he wanted an angry bird sandwich... This was what I managed to whip out:

This was what he managed to mould... A red angry bird... Not too bad.. His motoring skills not bad sia...

Afternote: Refusing to give up, Mommy Me made another Angry Bird for Lucas dinner on Sunday's evening... Lolx....

With the help of ham, now it looks more like one...

Home Alone with Lucas

As there was a start of HFMD in Lucas' school, Mommy Me took a day off after the Public Hol to stay home with him, especially when he had an onset of coughing spate... Made a breakfast bento for him...

In order not to let him idle the whole day away, Mommy Me got him this art piece to work on... Batik painting... Ta-da... Done in jiffy (of cos, with Mommy Me puking blood away too trying to get him to colour in the correct space3...)

Here you have it, a proud fellow with his fnished product...

Breakfast on Day 3 of CNY 2011

Today is the third day of CNY 2011.. Mommy Me was sleeping in bed when Lucas came to wake me up at 4++am... =.='''

I refused to get up and he relented after awhile.. Unfortunately, my room alarm which is set automatically to 5 am started to ring and he ran back to my room dragging me out of bed... sigh...

Ok, then he asked me to make him a milk and guess what, he fell asleep at the sofa when I was already wide awake!!! ARGH!!!

Anyway after doing some household chores, I began to fix breakfast.. Made french toast from the Bento Cutters...
Left the sides and watnots for Daddy Sky and Mommy Me..
Verdict: He asked for honey stars with milk... =.=''''

Breakfast

Though there is breakfast provided at Lucas' childcare centre, Mommy Me will still prepare a light breakfast for Lucas.

It can be bread or cake or even cookies with a drink.

This morning, I made him a bear from bread and cheese and Daddy Sky took the photos below.
Looks like he does enjoy his breakfast... ^^

Our Lunch Today

With all the bento making breakfast, Mommy Me accumulated some cheese... So guess I have to use them up in one way or another.. Macaroni with cheese should be the easiest to use all all the odds... ^^

That is Lucas' plate while this is Mommy's plate...
And after polishing all the peas on his plate, he started to 'attack' my plate!!! Seizing every pea in sight... =.='''

Bento Fun - - Bunny!!!

I made a quick breakfast yesterday morning, cutting out a bird.. but I was lazy to place eyes on it.. So when Lucas saw it, he said its a banana... =.=''' Despite me repeating that it is a bird, he kept telling me that it was a banana...

Ok, decided not to busy today.. See my bunny... Got eyes.. Hmm, let's see what he will say later... ^^

Bento Attempt #1

This is my first attempt... The fishes are made from cheese and the eyes from Nori...
Lucas polished off everything except the sausage octopus and the carrot bits..
Hmm, guess not too bad afterall... ^^

Bento Tools

Mommy Me plans to start on making bento meals for Lucas... Been sourcing around for the tools but so expensive!!!

Then read a blog that I could get some from Daiso.. since I managed to get half a day off today, I went to Daiso to check out the items..
Real cool, they have so many things and only cost $2 each!!! Mommy Me took so many items and gosh when I got to the cashier, I realised I took 25 items!!! WAH!!!!

Check out my loot above... But veli excited.. Shall try my hand at doing this weekend...

A Little Breakfast

Mommy Me noticed that some kids will bring breakfast to the centre even though breakfast will be served around 8 - 9am...

Though Lucas will usually take a yogurt before going to the centre, Mommy Me sometimes will let him bring along some buns so that he can be more full... And he has been enjoying this little privi for a couple of weeks...

As Mommy Me been studying those bento kits and got a couple of cookie cutters at home, so had my first attempt this morning to cut out a Mickey Mouse bread for him...

Ta-da... My veli first Mickey Mouse Bread with Butter and Sugar... (Ya, he likes his bread this way...) Of cos, the flip side is the leftover bread which Mommy Me has to eat.. else such a wastage..
