Lewis @ 14th months

Check out Bb Lewis' at 14 months... He can crawl super fast n call papa, mama, gege, yeye, nai nai... yeeyeee, ah gong, ah ma.. haha... but his favorite word is dar-dee.... meaning daddy.. he can sit in his play yard n chant dar-dee, dar-dee non stop until his daddy came to his rescue... of course, on days when he was ignored by his daddy, he would try his luck by shouting -- MARMEEE!!

 Simple Celebration for Father's Day... Time flies when you have children.. And it's so tiring to manage everything with 2 of them but when you look at both of them, you will realise it's all worth it.. ;p

 We had dinner at Crystal Jade Jiang Nan @ Vivo... Check out the food.. Very nice dinner for us..

 

After dinner, Daddy Sky wanted to go Best Denki.. Asked him why.. He said he wanted to check out the water oven that Mommy Me had been eyeing... Guess what, he declared that it's a Father's Day gift for himself and he lugged it home... =.='''

Dunno if it was Father's Day or Mother's Day lor...

p/s: Of course, I am delighted cos I am the one 'eyeing' this... hahahaha

Breakfast @ Tiong Bahru Bakery

Daddy Sky read about this new place @ Tiong Bahru and he knew we had to go... Was keeping our fingers crossed that Lucas could recover from his fever soon so we could go check out this new place.

Luckily his fever was kept in check the whole Saturday and so we decided to bring him out for breakfast..

Super crowded place in the morning.. Many tables but it was packed!!!

Many families were in there and we were really excited as we saw many kinds of bread... Lucas was super excited. He ordered a brioche  for himself and Daddy Sky was on a bread spree.. He ordered 4 kinds of bread.. OMG...

Lucky the latte was superb and yup, the coffee was from Forty Hands.. It was a joint venture apparently according to a waiter...

Nice breakfast but wondered when the craze could die down so that I could enjoy the bread properly without being squashed by the crowds.

Dim Sum @ Yum Cha

We were trying to explore the different dim sum around Chinatown area hoping to give the place some chance despite the mushroom of Chinese Restaurants... After having 3 weeks of dim sum at De Bao, we decided to try out Yum Cha..

Not too bad.. service was good and the bois enjoyed themselves..

Love my Thermos Pot and HCP pan... Cooking is such a breeze and most importantly, everyone enjoyed my cooking...

We go swimming again...

The weather is killing us... Since we pay monthly maintenance fees, we better make good use of the facilities... We decided to go swimming... The boys were realli excited.. As though the pool was a giant bath-tub...

However, cannot realli swim too long, scare they catch a chill... =.='''

Bb Lewis at 13 months

At 13th month, Bb Lewis has a mind of his own... Though still unable to walk, he is super adventurous.. 

He has this super funny habit of putting his leg high high in the sky as though he is the boss at home...

In his play-yard, he will always use his toys as stepping tools to gain additional height to grab stuff within his added reach like books, piggy phones including my phone... =.=''''

If Mommy Me or Daddy Sky is in the play-yard with him, we will be his 'tool' for stepping upon...Some days, I have half a mind wishing he does not grow too fast... My life is so hectic these days that I feel I am missing his growing up... ;(

Lewis Turns ONE!!!

Some days, you wonder where did all the time go? Blink blink and Bb Lewis turned one...

Frankly, I am impressed with this fellow..He has this heightened sense of alertness, ie, keeping super quiet and watching every little movement of mine when I am scolding Lucas.

He will just watch quietly and not kick up any fuss nor making any noise and of course, super behaves himself whenever Lucas gets into trouble with me.

He seems to know how to watch the situation and my face's 'colour'.. He is a cheerful bb and flashes his mega-watt smile at everyone.. ;p

Happy Birthday, my dear bb... May you continue to be happy and healthy... Mommy Loves You...

While Mommy was at the talk....

Rowing in the boat

The boys love to play in this tub that they used for bathing.. Lucas calls it their boat...
And so, they went rowing in their 'boat'...

Lewis is still not able to walk... =.='''  Dunno if he is lazy or he is simply not confident taking the first step.. When he is in his play yard, he will move proficiently holding the panels...

Occasionally, I see him let go of his grip and stand a couple of seconds before landing on his bum bum... Hmm, why huh....

First trip to the swimming pool

It is the Good Friday long weekend... We had planned to bring the boys for a quick dip in the pool..

Reason: Cos the silly n forgetful mommy forgot to pack Lucas' swimwear into his bag for a good 2 weeks... and he could not go for waterplay at school.. and ended up playing at the playground while his friends all got to dip in the water... Knowing he is pretty upset about it, Daddy Sky promised him to go for a swim on Good Friday..
We decided to let Bb Lewis have a taste of swimming as well...
Could fit into Lucas' old swimwear... To the pool we go, but unfortunately, the sky turned dark suddenly and we probably only dipped in the waters for 15 mins.. Well, better than nothing... ^^

Qing Ming, but what is BB Lewis doing at home??

Bb Lewis is too young to go for the qing ming prayers.. So Mommy ME and him are both excused...

Home Alone with 2 boys!!! - - AGAIN... =.='''

Shag sia to be home alone with 2 boys.. It is the Shichida's term break so Mommy Me is home alone half day with the boys.. Had parked the bois over at the grandparent's place in the morning so that I could cook the diner..

All my time whizzed past when I am home alone with the 2 of them...
But it is still enjoyable in a sense as I got to spend time with them... ^^

Sunday Sweat it Out

Bb Lewis was at Gymboree with Daddy Sky while Mommy Me brought Lucas to Singkids... A Sunday Sweat it out!!!! Check out Lucas...
We brought him to Ikea last weekend and he din enjoy himself claiming that no one plays with him... Today he made frens with other children including their daddy... lolx...

Home Alone with 2 boys!!!

This may seem a good practice in prep for Daddy Sky's impending trip in April but Mommy Me almost dropped dead after looking after the 2 of them for 4 hours ALONE!!!

OH NO.. I am not optimistic now for the April stint.. Will I survive??

Daring Boi

Bb Lewis is very daring.. Despite falling off the bed a couple of times, he will still attempt to scale past the obstacles and climb over the bed.. Check this out

Hiding in Play Yard

The 2 of them were running fever since yesterday... Mommy Me woke up at 5am to administer the medication and started preparing the ingredients for dinner...

When Daddy Sky woke up at 7.30 am, Mommy Me passed the baton to him and soon knocked out for the next 1.5 hours...

In the meantime, the boys were up and about and playing in the play yard while watching Nick Jr.

Connecting with each other

Sometimes, it's very interesting to see how the 2 boys connect with each other...These photos were taken before we left the house in the morning.

Lucas will first hug n kiss Bb Lewis and say good morning to him... Den he started to monkey around... Bb Lewis will always react towards the camera without realising what his brother is up to.

It's very sweet to see the brothers hug and sayang each other.. In fact, I am impressed with Lucas' high level of tolerance towards his bb brother at this moment. He will allow Bb Lewis to pull his hair but not make any noise about it... Usually we are the ones who will scream at Bb Lewis to let go.. Of cos, Bb Lewis is another smart fellow who will know when to watch out for my mood swings... ^^
