Sick Again

Sigh, Lucas started running a fever on Monday night...
Coupled with running nose and cough, he is a handful to manage..
Plus, he kept salivating... We suspected he was teething...
So he continued to be cranky for Tuesday's night as well.
In fact, he coughed in his sleep and merlion-ed...
That sent Mommy Me and Daddy Sky into a cleaning operation.... =.='''
Yes, in the middle of the night...

The bomb dropped when Po-po just called Mommy Me to say that Lucas has ulcers in his mouth... OMG, is it HFMD??!!!


Update as at 11.30am: Ok, Lucas has seen the doc.. No HFMD.. Heng ah... Can realli give me heart attack!!!

Jab... Finally

The last round we went to Doc Chan, we could not do the Hep A jab as Lucas was running a fever...So this morning, we went back to Doc Chan but of cos took breakfast first @ Cova..
Check out the pastries chosen by Lucas for his breakfast.. yummy.. He managed to polish off the entire mango cake, half the cheese cake and the entire strawberry minus the tart.. Of cos, not to mention, he ate one third of my sausage and one fifth of my omelette.
A pot of tea which never fails to perk me up (though my back was aching... )


Lucas was happily playing in the clinic... He even wanted to go into the doc's room before he was called.. Of cos, later the jab made him scream... Hmm, like wat Daddy Sky said, he screamed even more when we asked him to return the toys.. =.='''

Mommy, where are you??

Daddy Sky told Mommy Me this last evening when we met for dinner..

As Mommy Me was giving tok on Sunday, Mommy Me had to leave the house early around 8am... I got up around 530 am cos Lucas was awake!!! Aiyo, thank god, Daddy said he will take over and ask me to go back to bed...

I took another 30 mins snooze and was up and about preparing Lucas' lunch and dinner. Lucas was clingy in the morning and ok when I needed to leave the house...

Later in the day, he went Mommy mommy... He thought I was hiding under the blanket and he climbed onto the bed to look for me... Heart pain lei hearing this...

Sorry, boi.. Mommy had to work...

p/s: Have to work this coming Sunday too... Oops..

What Can Lucas Do After Attending Skol??

I guess there are indeed benefits from attending a childcare centre.. Lucas can now:

• feed himself - - Though still quite messy
• throw away his diaper - - including new ones... -.-'''
• put his dirty clothes in the laundry...
  
• open the doors - - now I have to resort to locking the doors..

Overall, not so perfect but relatively good achievement.. ^^

Special Treats

Lucas is such a lucky boi.. Look, he has some special treats from Auntie Catherine.. He was so excited when I gave them to him... N he kept saying "bananas".
Sorry, Boi. Your cough just recovered lei.. So Mommy cannot open them for you to savor.. Another day bah...

Happy Father's Day (Part 2)

It is Father's Day today.. So we had dinner @ 梅林.
Though Mommy Me had a not-so-good experience during the Chinese New Year Lunch, we decided to give the place another chance since for CNY, usually the food at most places oso become so-so...
Firstly, I made the reservation through their website.. and within mins, they called to confirm the reservation.. Ok, scored a bit of points for that..
So we reached the restaurant, the table was already set including the baby chair and the cutlery for Lucas.
We order the following items:

四季平安

沙锅豆腐

脆皮鸡

猪脚醋

南乳KangKong

南乳芋头扣肉

After dinner, we felt a dessert will be nice so Yi-yi suggested going to Illuma - Empire State.
Not bad place and while waiting for the desserts to be served, Lucas was having fun...
The brownie with ice-cream... Veli thick but a little tad sweet...
The root beer float...
The veli last one - the fried banana sundae...
Daddy & Gong-gong : Thanks for looking after us so well and being there for us all the time... ^^

P/s: Ye-ye - - Thanks for you too though you are now away at the Shanghai Expo..

Verdict of First Movie

This morning, we went to Vivo for the Toy Story 3 movie.. It is Lucas' veli first movie.. In fact, both Daddy Sky and Mommy Me were pretty worried that he might scream in there and disturbed other movie patrons.
We let him hold on to the tickets first to explain that we need these to enter the cinema...
He looks enlightened after we explain.. Heehee...
We went in near the start time as we were concerned he might get restless...
To our surprise, he was veli attentive in the cinema and watched the movie quietly...
So quietly that he fell asleep... zzzz after 30 mins... hahaha...
Den he woke up again and watched the last 15 mins of the show...
In total, he watched 45 mins of the entire show.. Good enuff for us liao... ^^
After the movie, we went to Aoba to eat the Hokkaido Ramen.. Slurp... ^^
He was waiting for Daddy Sky to bring the porridge from the car so he pretended to be eating from the empty bowl... ^^
We are so proud of you, Lucas!!!
