Dessert @ Hagen Daaz

Since we did not manage to shop last Sunday, Daddy Sky suggested to go Vivo to walk walk this evening...Mommy Me suggested having some ice cream @ Hagen Daaz.. Lucas checking out the menu on his own..
But too bad, Mommy Me has decided to have banana split... ^^

Rice??

Lucas is giving Mommy Me a BIG headache... He has refused his porridge last dinner and this afternoon's lunch.. All he tells me is RICE!!!

Faintz.. Last night I scampered to cook rice for him.. Today Daddy Sky ran to get rice with soup... Does this mean he will want rice from now on and does not want his porridge anymore??!!

Now, is that Good or Bad news for me??

Someone has a new pair of shoe.. Well, that's how he calls them...

Not a Bad Start

Though Lucas will cry when Mommy Me drops him off at the childcare, teachers have informed that he will stop after a while. Thereafter, he will participate in all the activities.. He will only burst out in tears again when Gong-gong and Po-po pick him up in the afternoon.

Gong- gong and Po-po observe that whenever they picked him up for the past 2 afternoons, he will sit down carrying his bag and waited for the rest of his classmate..

We also observed that he could start to feed himself or rather he wants to feed himself... Guess, it is not so bad afterall... ^^

What a BIG Insect!!!

Mommy Me was alone at home with Lucas when I spotted something on his toy car.. It is a BIG praying mantis.. At least 10cm.. Eeks.. My hair stood.. Even carried the whole car to show Lucas who also cringed!!! =.='''

Err, Boy.. Aren't you supposed to protect Mommy instead???

Afternote: Jus as Mommy Me thought that the praying mantis was gone, I spotted it again on Sunday morning.. Eeks..It was looking at the fish tank... When I tried to take its photo, it turned to look at me... WAH!!!!

Day 2 @ Eager Beavers

Today is Day 2 @ Eager Beavers.. Lucas woke up too early around 5am and refused to go back to sleep after his milk... Mommy Me oredi dun feel good about it... True enough, he fell asleep on the drive to the centre and kicked up a fuss when he was asked to wake up for his check...
He then settled down a little and started playing with the toys in the centre.. Seemed pretty ok.. The teacher brought him out to have his breakfast...
Still not too bad... Trouble came when Mommy Me told him that I have to leave.. He started to cry and cry and refused to let me go.. Mommy Me heart oso not hard enough so hung around... When it came to water play, I told him that I needed to go to work and he cried so badly by the mini pool... Haiz.. Mommy Me got to walk back again...

Then the teacher told me that I have to leave and let them take over, else he will continue to whine and cry.. Bo bian, I had to leave before lunch time and will be back to fetch him later. ;-(

First Day @ Eager Beavers

Today is Lucas' first day in childcare.. Planning to put him there so that he can learn to be more independent... Was pretty worried.. But guess, he was quite ok...When he reached the centre, he was so daring, went round exploring the place on his own...

He sat on the playmat and started reading the picutures/letters to himself.
He even ransacked all the toys as though it is his house... faintx...

He cooperated when the teachers wanted him to drink water before going to the playground to play...

Mommy Me left when he was at the playground.. He waved bye bye and continued his fun...
I took these while peeping in from the inside window...

I then left the centre and went home. When I got back to the centre, he was having his lunch and he was feeding himself... ^^ But could tell that he was tired and he fell asleep on the drive back to Gong-gong's house...
