To The Library...

Today is the eve of Xmas so Mommy Me only needed to work half day.. Brought Lucas to the library cos he is always wanting to read new books.. Cannot keep buying else I will have storage problems and of cos, my pocket wont be able to tahan...

Lucas was veli excited.. He 'semi-ran' to the shelves and started helping himself to the books..

Seems to tell Mommy Me that he wants to borrow this... In any case, I lug back 9 books for him.. Left 3 book slots and lent them to 2 yi-yis who went along to help Mommy Me jaga Lucas.. ^^

Mommy's GF has just given birth and we went to the hospital to visit them.. Lucas was very excited seeing Bb Caden and wanted to touch him... ;-p

Mommy Me carried Bb Caden for Lucas to stroke his face and he called Bb Caden 'Ge-ge'... Hahaha, not Ge-ge la.. He's Di-di...

Mommy's car went servicing yesterday so the alternator went haywired.. So we had to ferry Lucas in Daddy's van... When we alight the van, we will put Lucas at the driver's seat and he will pretend to drive the van..

p/s: He will touch the gear stick, mimicking how Daddy Sky drives the van... ;-p

So this morning, I asked him who is driving Daddy's van... He actually pat himself on his chest and replied me in hokkien 'wah' meanng me... faintx...

I repeated the same question at least 3 times to make sure Daddy and Gong gong hear his reply.. ;-p

Dinner @ Lee Kwang Kee

Realised that the winter solistice is on this coming Tuesday, so reminded Daddy Sky to call Ye-ye and Nai-nai out for dinner tonight.. Cos Tua-peh travels during the weekdays so not possible to have a family dinner on Tuesday night..

Ye-ye suggested going to this restaurant along River Valley Road.... It's a Teochew Restaurant.. We had real authentic Teochew food and Lucas ate a lot of food... Mommy Me still thinking about the food while blogging.. Shall go there again and this time, I will take photos... ^^

p/s: Forgot to bring camera la.. So cannot show you all the nice food...

Drive through Orchard Road

Daddy Sky been wanting to bring Lucas to Orchard Road to see the Xmas lighting.. Mommy Me has been telling him that it is not possible cos:

1. It is too crowded to go Orchard Road on weekends.
2. Mommy Me still sick.
3. Lucas just recovered from his flu and cough.

So Daddy Sky decided to just drive through Orchard Road and let Lucas look at the lightings from the car..

Headache lor, he refused to be in car seat and wanted to move around at the back. One moment he is playing with the switch for the light and the next moment, he is playing with the window control... The other moments he will sit on the floor of the car..

Even Po-po who came along with us also got headache and was car-sick.. =.='''

End of it all, Mommy Me was car-sick too from handling Lucas.. ;-(

Chinese Books

Yi-yi has been nagging at Mommy Me that Lucas is becoming a 'potato'...cos he understands more instructions in English than Chinese... Even after Mommy Me told Yi-yi that Lucas does watch 三字经 daily and Yi-yi still very concerned.

Ok, Mommy Me bought a new set of Chinese Flashcards for Lucas.. and have been showing them daily to him.. Hopefully, it will help... ^^

Kukup Trip

Mommy's office organised a trip to Kukup.. Thought it will be fun to bring everyone along.. So po-po, gong-gong and yiyi all went along... Lucas was veli excited at first but as the bus ride goes longer and longer, he became cranky... ;-p

Overall, the seafood meals were nice... Weather was cooling except for the sudden downpour near dinnertime.. And one more thing, there was NO jam on our way back to Singapore!!!!

p/s: The last time Mommy Me went Kukup was when I was 4-5 years old.. So hor, been a long long time ever since liao.. Po-po was telling us that she brought me to this place 20++ years ago lor...

One more thing, Daddy Sky, after visiting the mangrove park, decided that we shall visit our own Singapore's Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve at our next outing... He believes ours will be much better..^^
