Oops, I did it again

I have a fetish for home organisation ideas... lolx...
When I spotted these boxes, I knew I had to get them..
On the pretext that it would make it easier for the boys to get their toys, I went ahead and bought 2 boxes...
Of course, when the boxes arrived, I obtained further approval from Daddy Sky to get more... ^^
And ta-da, I organised the play room... The boxes and the toy rack on one side of the room and the play yard with the book shelf on the other...
Actually, the boxes were still not enuff.. Cos they have too many toys!!!!
Never mind, it will make do for the time being until I spot new toys (I mean new toys for me, not them!!! ^^)

Fever - Pls go away

Lucas' fever came back again on Sunday early morning... We had earlier planned to go to the temple to pray but he was having a fever at 39!!!

So Mommy Me stayed at home with him while Daddy Sky brought Bb Lewis to the temple instead... He was fine the whole day with the fever hovering between 37.5 - 38... By evening time, it had stabilized...

Mommy Me monitored him till 3 am and he was not running a fever.. So I tot I could have a good rest finally.. FAT HOPE!!!

He woke up with a fever (AGAIN!!!) in the morning... To Dr Koh's clinic we went.... Packed sia the clinic... We had to wait a little while as he needed to do a flu test... While waiting for the test results, he was busy playing... =.='''
Did he look sick to you???!!!
Frankly, other than the fever, he was absolutely active!!!

Again, viral fever.. Started him on his antibiotics.. Hopefully, the fever can go away!!!

On a hot day like this, I want to soak in a bath tub with cool water too!!!

This weather is so unbearable.. Sigh, some days heavy rain and some days so hot.. No wonder people keep falling sick..

On a side note, Lewis is so happy to be soaking around in his bath water.. In fact, he will 'crawl' around his little bath tub... ^^ He will be 10 months next Sunday.. How time flies...

Concept of Needy Children

Mommy Me has been educating to Lucas on the concept of needy children... Basically, trying to make him understand that there are people who need help and there is always no need to have everything.. Giving and sharing will make one happier...

Mommy Me: I will go cook your lunch now. After your lunch, promise you will go take a nap. Else how??
Lucas: I dunno...
Mommy Me: Else I will give Flynn to needy children cos you dunno how to follow instructions.

I lost count when and where it started... All I know was Lucas fell in school on Wednesday and the next thing, he started running a fever at 39.2 degrees... Mommy Me was so worried that I rushed him to the PD...

After all the examinations, PD declared that it was likely a viral fever... huh, from where??
Bb Lewis was having a mild flu just the week before... unless the virus had stayed in our house so long before it took effect on Lucas???No choice, ah gong n ah ma sure cannot cope with 2 bois for 2 days straight.. Mommy Me had to take leave for Thursday last minute and stayed at home with Lucas...

On Friday morning, Lucas was still having a slight fever... Mommy Me told him I need to go back to work as I had quite a number of meetings...See what he said to me... =.='''

Mommy Me: I need to go back to work today because I have meetings with Uncle Boss.
Lucas: It's ok, mommy... (for one moment, I thought he was so sweet to allow me to go back to work.) Tell Uncle Boss I am sick and you stay at home with me... (HUH!!!)
Mommy Me: Sorry, dear.. I really need to be back in office today.
Lucas: I am sick. I cannot go school.. I need to stay at home. You stay at home with me...

Faint... After a couple of minutes of exchange, he was finally willing to let me go to work...

Near noon time and of course, after meeting, I gave a call home and to my horror, Bb Lewis started running a fever.... =.='''
As with all working mothers' dilemma, I can't leave office as I had a couple more meetings in the afternoon.. Was keeping my fingers crossed the whole day..

When I reached my parents' place in the evening, Lucas started throwing tantrums.. Just because I did not stay at home with him... Sigh... More explanations to do...

But at least, both of them were not running fever... However, still need to monitor them closely.. Flu and cough still lingering around... Time to bring the Raycop out!!!

Gathering again for CNY 2012

Mommy Me has this group of JC friends that we will gather at least 2-3 times per year.

Potluck is usually our way to share the food.. Like what Mommy Me's gerfren's hubby shared, only at our gathering, he can eat chinese food.. LOLx... Cos Mommy Me's gerfren is pretty angmoh n so are her other friends..

Forgot to take photos of the asparagus with XO sauce and the fried nian gao by my one of my fren's wife.. yummy.

Mommy Me made this...Braised Lion Head (狮子头)Here is the recipe for sharing:

Ingredients

Minced Pork – 500 grams
Water chestnuts – 6 pieces (can replace using shallots if water chestnuts is not available)
Long white cabbage – 500 grams
Cooking Oil – Half Cup
Cornflour mixture (mix 1 tablespoon of cornflour with some water)

Set A
Egg – 1
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Sugar – 1.5 teaspoon
Soy sauce – 3 tablespoon
Cornflour – 2 tablespoon

Set B
Water – 1 cup
Oyster sauce – 3 tablespoon
Soy sauce – 2 tablespoon

Prep and Cooking Instructions

Mixed the minced pork, chopped water chestnuts with Set A.
Mould them into meatballs the size of your fist.
Set aside in the fridge so that it will be easier to handle later.

In the meantime, boil about 3 cups of water in HappyCall Pan.
Blanch the long water cabbage (slice into 10 cm each)
Remove and line them in a claypot.

In HappyCall Pan, add cooking oil.
Heat it for 2 minutes.
Place the lion head into the pan and pan fried it for 3 minutes on each side with the pan closed.

Remove and place them on top of the cabbage.
Mix set B in a bowl and pour into the claypot.

Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Thicken with the cornflour mixture and serve hot with rice. ^^

Woots.. I am so looking forward to the next gathering... ^^

Indulgence of Good Food

Lucas is spoilt... lolx.. He loves to eat typical Teochew porridge with fresh fish cooked in salted vegs.

We have this stall at Hong Lim that we always visit for morning breakfast. He will hive off half a bowl of porridge from Mommy Me and of cos choose his fish to be cooked. Some days he will ask for duck meat or squid to go with his fish..

This stall sometimes offers fresh crayfish n flower crab.. On this morning, they actually have lobster!!!! Of cos, Lucas asked for one... ^^
Super fresh and sweet... It is different from those you have during buffets. Ooh. I love my lobster cooked this manner.. $25 for one but the taste is heavenly. No extra sauce to cover its natural taste...

Ren Ri 2012

For Ren Ri, I decided to cook the dinner on my own... Was up and about busy in the kitchen since morning:
Soup and peng cai stuff being simmer away...

For the yu sheng, I bought ready one from Giant...
Toss to a smooth year ahead and good health:
For dinner, I double-boiled fish maw with chicken soup.
And cooked my peng cai:
Din manage to do this butter scallops well... Guess I forgot the fact that scallops will give out water... the sauce was right taste but it just din thickened... =.=''''But still, it is nice to have a simple homecooked dinner during ren ri and I dun have to go squeeze with people in the restaurants... ^^

Annual CNY Start Work Dinner 2012

It is Daddy Sky's company culture to start work on the fifth day of the year.. And on the fifth day, they will have their annual company dinner as well...

As this is a family business, it also becomes a tradition for all of us to attend the dinner... We had the dinner at Wo Peng at Furama hotel along Eu Tong Sen Street.

The food was surprisingly good.. Check out the dishes:
Lo Hei
Roast Goose - which is pretty rare.
Deep fried fish and the fish meat was very moist.
A BIG peng cai

Bb Lewis could not go for the dinner as he was having flu... So only Lucas went with us... And he had a great appetite...

After eating, it was playing the ipad and iphone with his cousin, Yu Heng...
Funny faces... It is always very lovely to look at them..
Thanks to the second brother-in-law who helped to keep a lookout on the dinner arrangements so that Daddy Sky and Mommy Me could focus on feeding Lucas.. ^^

Exhibitions @ ArtScience Museum

Today is the 4th day of CNY and the last day before we resume our working routine from Chu Wu.. Mommy Me took 2 days of leave to accompany Daddy Sky whose company's culture is to start work only on Chu Wu...

We were to the ArtScience Museum @ MBS to view the Titanic Exhibition. Since we were there, we caught the Cartier Time Art Exhibition as well.
Paiseh, no fotos from the exhibitions as no fotos was allowed.

It was realli a hot day and see, Daddy Sky could hardly keep his eyes open...

Mixed feelings from the Titanic exhibition: Really in awe of the workmanship and thoughts that went into building that gigantic ship and the anger & sadness that followed when one reads how the lives were lost... Especially when this could have been avoided to some extent.

After the exhibition, we went to TWG for lunch...

HCP - Mustard Greens Stew

We love to eat mustard greens.. This is the kind of veg I would order if I go to a typical Teochew Restaurant.. But not everyone appreciates its taste.. lolx..

As always, I am glad that Daddy Sky shares the same taste when it comes to food...

Since for CNY, it is usually pretty difficult to get decent food at reasonable prices.. We will cook at home..

For Chu Er, I stewed mustard greens with Chigu (arrowheads) and mushrooms.. ^^
And of cos, using my Happy Call Pan...
N we polished the whole pot... slurp... yummy... I just used Swanson Chicken Stock to stew the items with no other added salt..

Day 1 of CNY 2012

It is the first day of CNY... Concerned that Lewis might be real uncomfy judging from Lucas' very first CNY's experience, Mommy Me and Daddy Sky thought through the activities for the day in advance... Made preparations for the whole day...

The boys were pretty cool and excited about the CNY... I guess as Bb Lewis is already 9th months, he seems to be pretty handling the crowd and the number of people who kept wanting to carry him..
After 3 stops, the 2 of them knocked out in the car... ^^
After the short nap, they were full of energy and up and about again...

Not a bad CNY 2012 afterall, guess all the preparations do help... ^^

Wishing everyone a Happy Lunar New Year 2012... Especially hope that for this year, everything will go smooth and as planned or hoped:
As this year's CNY eve falls on a Sunday, we psycho my parents to have a reunion lunch instead of dinner.. Else usually we will have 2 rounds of dinner... lolx..

So we had our reunion lunch at Lao BeiJing @ Tiong Bahru Plaza...
It was a set lunch for 4 pax but pretty filling for us... Especially when its only lunch...

This is definitely less stressful than having 2 rounds of dinner lor.. ;p

Will only be cooking dinner on Sat since we will be having reunion meals on Sun...

Again, using my HCP to create meals.. First up, Teriyaki Salmon..

I use a slightly thinner slice den a thick chunk.. Marinate it with sea salt and pat dry before putting them into the pan... About 3 mins on each side with the pan closed manages to seal the moisture in. Just pour in some teriyaki sauce towards the end for one minute and done... ^^
Next, was stir fried leek with mock abalone... This one is very simple too.. Just put the leek in and cover the pan for 2 minutes... Den pour in the mock abalone and cover the entire pan for about 3 minutes.. Add some hua tiao wine as finishing touch... Viola, done in less than 10 minutes..
I realli enjoy using this pan especially when it keeps the kitchen cleaner with less oil splatter.. Of course, the flip side of the coin is that you cannot see what is being cooked and have to aga aga the cooking time...

Ok, we are really finally done with the revamp... lolx...

The wall decals arrived just in the nick of time for Mommy Me to touch up the walls along the walkway...
It gave this garden feel and added colours to the boring white walls... ;p

But hor, the worse part is after I ordered the above.. Daddy Sky got this idea to decorate the skirting round the master bedroom.. I almost fainted... But managed to convince him to decorate the skirting of the walkway leading to the rooms...

HCP - - Noodles for 2 evenings..

Well, the craze about HCP continues...
Last weekend, I managed to deep fried some chicken using it:
This time round, I made some slits in the chicken to facilitate the cooking... It was juicy and yummy and of cos, minus the kitchen mess..

I used the following to marinate the 5 chicken drumlets:

Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
Hua Tiao Wine - 1 tablespoon
Sesame oil - 1 dash
Corn flour - 1 tablespoon
1 egg white

I left it overnight in the fridge and the marinate seep in.. It was GREAT... ^^

For this weekend, my challenge was to cook noodles.. lolx...

Standard ingredients for 2 nights:
But different end result though...
Sat evening was Fried Kway Tiao... ^^
Not bad except it was lacking in wok hei and Daddy Sky was looking for the Chinese sausage which Mommy Me forgot...
Anyway, Lucas din like this.. He must have soup... Dry meals do not appeal to him at all...

Sunday evening was Prawn Noodles Soup...
Up next, I shall attempt to cook claypot rice with it... woots

Nearing 9 months' mark

Oh yes, we are still not quite done with the revamp.. lolx...

After the outdoor roller blinds, up next, we installed a ceiling fan in our bedroom.
Somehow after shifting the PCs into our room, I feel that the room gets a little too warm for my liking.. Since we are not realli air-con people, we decided to install a ceiling fan... ^^

Of cos, Mommy Me put up the CNY decors...
Lucas chose them:
I am still waiting for my wall decals.. Hopefully, they can arrive this week and then I can really be done soon... ^^

ESP

Sometimes I wonder if Lucas realli has ESP (extrasensory perception)...
He was saying the whole of last weekend that he wanted to eat flower crab and fish...
Of cos, we conveniently ignored him cos where to find a flower crab...argh...
On Thursday evening, he was telling me tomorrow Mommy and Daddy eat flower crab and I eat fish...

We laughed it off cos we had already planned to go Hong Lim to eat Teochew porridge the next morning...

To our amazement, the stall really had flower crab!!! And Lucas was so excited and immediately ordered one.
So there you have it.. The ESP Lucas who enjoyed his Teochew porrridge with the flower crab and the rabbit fish... while you have Daddy Sky and Mommy Me in total amazement of his prediction...
p/s: The best part, the stall will be closed for 2 weeks and open only on Chu Ba of CNY.. so luckily we went yesterday... ^^

Happy Call Craze

Mommy Me has been hearing quite a fair bit of stuff about this new pan in the market:
So I decided to get one to discover for myself what is so amazing about this pan:
Well, it is realli an easier to use pan and lesser oil splatter for sure... Food retains its moisture despite being locked in the pan...

Not sure if this is what people usually mean by the 2nd one will be faster...
He saw Lucas having his little snack of biscuit and milk and started screaming at Mommy Me...

I supposed he wanted his share too..
Ok, you get your teething rusk...He realli enjoyed eating his teething rusk...
Knocking it on the table top will not make it smaller, my dear... ^^

Revamp Again - Can you believe it???!!! - Part 2

Daddy Sky felt that the outdoor blinds were not easy to maintain and getting pretty dirty... So we sourced around and finally settled for this kind.. Similar to those found at coffee shops... Hopefully it will serve its purpose but much easier to maintain... ^^

Mommy Me, on the other hand, was finding the wall decals at home abit too boring... So decided to change them... lolx...I decided to remove the previous one:
And replaced it with my favorite flowers...
Have placed orders for some more to replace those in the play room and another batch for the walkway.. So excited... lolx...

After his lunch, my next uphill task was to get him out of the house so that I can run some simple errands and my leave won't be wasted...

Stay Home Mum - Part 1

Lucas' childcare centre had a recent spam of HFMD cases.. Last count was 16 cases and they would be forced to shut down when they hit 17.

The centre decided to take a more cautious approach and shut down the centre on 31 Dec for a period of 10 days in an attempt to break the HFMD cycle and to do a spring cleaning.

As such, Lucas has to be kept at home.. He was at the grandparents' place for a couple of days and I already sensed them being worn out at the end of the day.. Therefore, Mommy Me took a day off today to jaga Lucas...

Gosh, in less than half a day, I am exhausted liao... It was an uphill task getting his cooperation to do some worksheets...

After lunch, I shall bring him out for a walk.. Hopefully, that will put some positive energy into the both of us...

A short morning walk @ Hort Park

Mommy Me bought a new Little Tikes 3-in-1 Tricycle from Robinson... It was a good steal as it cost only $149...

After fixing it on New Year's Eve, we got excited and planned to bring it to a park... Hmm, which park shall we go?? After discussion, we decided on Hort Park... and to Hort Park, we went..

We took a short morning walk at the Hort Park... Here are the photos...
We really enjoyed this kind of morning walk.. Taking time to smell the flowers and of cos feed the mozzies... lol... But still, I am thankful for this kind of peace amidst our concrete forest... And already planning to go there again another day soon... ^^

2011 had been an exciting year.. We saw the arrival of Bb Lewis and his addition to our family had made it more complete...Mommy Me took on a bigger job scope and was physically challenged - - aka having to cycle in tandem during the Teambuilding event at Pulau Ubin... (Mind you, I can't cycle lor...) Daddy Sky had an interesting year too by having an involvement in developing a building.. He was always sharing with me on the details of building a retail and warehousing development..

As the year drew to a closure, I would like to ask you to check back on your year..

What went well?
What did not go so well?
What could be done in 2012 to make it a better year so that we do not have regrets?

I am so looking forward to a brand new 2012:
Hopefully, I can lose more weight in 2012... (lol, sounds like the new resolution year after year..)

More importantly, I hope that my bois will be healthier and stronger... And the people around me be happier and everything be smooth smooth for 2012...^^

Charity begins @ home

One thing that I hope is that both my children can understand that there are plenty of children around them who are less well off and probably need a little help here and there.

For this year, I have been explaining to Lucas the need to show our care and concern for the needy children.. So I had set aside a token amount for him to donate... I got him involved by choosing the organisations and explaining to him what they are for...
Done... donated to 2 organisations meant to Children...
Hopefully, with this little habit, I can get my children to understand that it is always good to give where possible...

If you could remember, we did some revamp to the house in 2010 nearing CNY... Here was a recap of the study....Unfortunately, with the arrival of Lewis, we had an issue with space again... =.='''
Cos right now, the toys were all over the house - - living room and the study...
We decided to change the entire whole study into a play room so that we can contain the mess and return Mommy Me my sanity... lol... Ta-da the play room...

After the episodes of the boys falling sick, Mommy Me was adamant to do something about it...

Haircut for Bb Lewis

Right after the scary episode for Lewis, he had recovered... ;p

We had to bring him out for his haircut.. Trying hard to avoid bringing him to crowded places for fear of catching some virus again...

But no choice, he needed a haircut for his messy hair...Took a few shots before his haircut...^^
Of cos with Lucas messing around too...Now this time round, he cried throughout the whole session.. faint lor...
These were taken towards almost the end of the haircut... where he finally stopped lor...

We went to Food Republic to grab a quick lunch before heading home... Check out the bois...

Mall Shows 2011 - Dora & Diego AND Angry Birds

One of the challenges these days is to bring the kids to mall shows during the December holidays.. There are forever a laundry list and time is needed to sieve through the list to determine when & which to go... (not forgetting to take into considerations, the time & dates to go...)

The very first shows we wanted to catch was Dora & Diego at Raffles City and Angry Birds at Taka..

Due to the dates of the shows, we had to pack 2 shows within the day.. Trust me, it was a BIG mistake doing so... ;(

As it was the Standard Chartered Bank Run 2011 in the morning, Raffles City was packed with the runners since the end point was somewhere near there... We had to quickly grab lunch before running to the open space at 3rd level for the first show....

Lucky we managed to get there but cos it was at the 3rd level, the area was directly under the glass ceiling meaning we were exposed to the sun.. that was a major no-no for Lewis who was very scared of heat.. Mommy Me could only watch bits and pieces of the show by standing far away and constantly having to move around...
It was actually pretty interesting and engaging. You could see the children dancing and singing to the prompts by the host... ^^

After the show, we had to rush the bois home for nap so that we could catch the Angry Bird show at Taka...We were a little too late and could not get into the seating arrangement for the show..

We ended up having to stand at the merchandise area and watch the show...
Well, I dun quite get the charms of these ugly fellows.. Daddy Sky probably will jeer at me cos he would think it was due to my inability to clear the stages of the game.. NAH!!!!

Anyway, after the show, we could not get a place to eat dinner.. BLAH!!!

It was so crowded.. Oh well, we had to pack dinner home and Lucas was complaining that he was famished in the car all the way from Taka till home... =.='''

Guess, Lewis was probably luffing to himself, thinking - - Heng, I can still have my milk... =.='''

My nightmare

Bb Lewis was running a fever out of the blue... Gave him the fever medicine but the temperature did not go below 38 degrees.. In fact the fever kept yo-yoing between 38.5 and 38.7 degrees...

It was really very worrying.. We even tried to sponge him but the temperature just wont come down... Left with no choice, we called his PD and was advised to send him to TMC while he made his way down to the hospital.

Of course, Bb Lewis did not know what he was in for.. But Mommy Me did... At least a 4D3N stay at Hotel TMC with an estimated price tag of $3k... =.='''
He still looked very active and happy rolling around in the bb cot provided by the hospital...
Happiness did not last long.. Once Dr Koh stepped in, Bb Lewis had to be placed on drip and a series of tests to be run to determine what was causing his fever...
See how angry he is now with the drip... His hands had to be taped to prevent him from pulling the needle out.. ouch...
He was struggling to play with his Sophie the giraffe...
Taken when he was all exhausted..

In the end, we stayed 3D2N when his fever was kept in check for 24 hours... He was diagnosed with a mild bronchitis... Sigh.. of cos, damage to Mommy Me was lack of sleep plus a 'hotel' bill of $2,500... =.=''''

Lucas' 1st Baking Class

Auntie Cynthia bought 2 same groupons for a baking class...
Since Mommy Me had been wanting to bring Lucas to the class for the longest time..
So I offered to take over the coupons...
Lucas was very excited about the class and already planned who to give the cupcakes to... ^^
Of cos, Daddy Sky was very concerned if Lucas could follow the instructions...
Do not fret, he did super well... Check it out:

And his cupcakes were first to pop into the oven while he sat and relaxed using my iphone...

RWS Stay

Well, we could not go travelling since Bb Lewis is still young.
So we decided to book a night stay @ RWS instead...
We booked 2 rooms at the Festive Hotel...
I was pleasantly surprised by the room... Check out bb Lewis enjoying the big bed...
Lucas was most excited about the loft bed...He declared it to be his the moment he stepped into the room...=.='''
And he did not show any fear climbing up n down the stairs...
Wah, it's tough to carry 2 and pose for a decent photo...
We went round the place and took photos.. It was buzzing with people at night...

Eager Beaver Year End Concert 2011

It was the annual Eager Beaver Year End Concert..
Lucas' teacher had been checking if any parents could volunteer to be helpers..
Mommy Me jumped on the band wagon as I was concerned about the type of make-up they would be slapping on Lucas' face...
The process was far more tiring than I expected.
It was practically like a production line where one parent helped to change the children and passed onto the next parent to do the makeup and passed to the last parent to do the hair...
And the worse thing for me was, the children ran away and then the makeup disappeared.. =.=''''

Daddy Sky's Birthday

This year, Daddy Sky's birthday happened to be his best friend's wedding....
So we could not plan any celebrations on the actual day..
Nonetheless, Daddy Sky still received his present from his darling sons...
We only managed to celebrate today with a cake from Millie Crepe.. It is a matcha cake..
Lewis was very excited seeing the cake but hor, he cannot eat lei...
Mommy Me brought Daddy Sky to Saint Pierre for lunch.

It is a restaurant opened by a pretty famous chef - Emmanuel Stroobant.
Daddy Sky likes to watch his cookery program so Mommy Me made a reservation at this place to surprise him... Of cos, I cannot afford to invite the chef to cook for us la.. Still, we can dine at his restaurant, not bad liao hor...

Up first, the appetizers.. First - Yellow tail with seaweed.
Bread... with a super special Hazelnut butter.. yummy...
2nd appetitiser - Smoked duck.. slurp...
My starter - - Salmon mousse (smoked salmon mousse with tomato confit tartare, basil caviar and basil ice-cream)
Daddy Sky's starter - pan-fried foie gras with caramelized green apples and old port sauce
My main- - mustard infused pork belly carpaccio with pan-fried pork belly, mashed potato with rocket
Daddy's main -- miso braised black cod with celeriac puree infused with hollandaise, pumpkin risotto and basil foam
Ended the meal with coffee and tea and the classic Petite Four..
Though it was an expensive lunch, the taste of the food is still lingering at this moment in my mouth... Goes to show how yummy they were...

My Xmas Tree

Lucas said we need to have a Xmas Tree at home..
That's his conclusion after walking past a few shops at Vivo...
So I bought 1 back.. lolx.. A super mini one... From Daiso..
Whole tree cost me only $6...
Of cos, Lucas was excited.. He was even more excited when he saw this elephant below:
He actually broke one accidentally when he tried to open the box eagerly. But the lady at Vivo counter was very nice, he gave Lucas one replacement.

Unfortunately, his first immediate response when reaching the place was - - Mommy, I am scared... faintz...
Anyway, I dragged him in... lolx..

While I read mixed reviews about this exhibition, I must say that personally I am impressed.
I spent a bit of time reading the information about each kind and rushed around with Lucas collecting the stamps.. ^^
You can see the worry look on Lucas' face, especially when I was telling him I wanted to touch the dinos.. He was telling me cannot do that cos they will bite...lolx...
I explained to him that I will only touch those that eats veg.. hahahaha...
After a while, he is more relaxed and enjoyed the exhibition better...
This is the best part of the exhibition:
Supposed to unearth the fossils below but he spent the time to dig sand...weird fellow.. hahaha...

I have attached an overview of the exhibition here for anyone of you who might be interested to go.
One thing that I am disappointed with this was, there is no ATM machines and the vendors all do not take credit cards and worse, nothing to eat... (ok, there was fast food but me and Lucas did not take fancy in the food...)

In the end, we went to Vivo to have our lunch... ^^

While Daddy Sky and Lewis were out watching play, Mommy Me and Lewis popped to Vivo to do some quick grocery shopping...
After an hour, when we were getting ready to go home, Lewis started screaming...

Mommy Me will be bringing Lucas to see dinosaurs on Tuesday.
As Daddy Sky has to work, he cannot come along with us.
So Mommy Me convinced Daddy Sky to bring Lucas to watch a play instead.
He chose this set of clothes which he said will keep him warm... ^^

Gatherings with friends are very important..
Especially when all of us have children now..
Letting the children play on their own while we can gather and eat gives us time to catch up and share parenting tips. ^^

Auntie Sim Hoon informed me that there is a Crocs fair over the weekend...
Immediately, I started cracking my brain on how to go and grab new shoes for Daddy Sky..
Daddy Sky's last pair was purchased at the Crocs fair 2 years back...
The prints had started to come off and it had been constatnly on my mind to get him a replacement pair...
After making the arrangements for the part time maid, I rushed to expo...
I was shocked to see quite a lot of people in the hall..
I just walked round the hall and quickly grabbed a few pairs...

First Dental Trip

Mommy Me sourced around looking for a dentist to bring Lucas to..
I was getting concerned if his teeth were in good shape and if it was a full set...
Since I could not determine if everything was in order, so it is still better for a professional to tell us...

We were bringing Lewis for his jab on the same day so Mommy Me scouted around for a PD dentist at Paragon so that we do not have to run all over shuttering them around...

Verdict: Teeth in good condition and full set of baby teeth intact... Next check 6 months later.. again will coincide with Lewis' jab... ^^

Lucas is lost!!!

Mommy Me and Lucas went to Vivo after his Shichida class...
Wanting to get some stuff from PageOne...
Mommy Me was looking at some stickers and Lucas started to run...
Of cos, Mommy Me gave chase.. N he slipped behind a man and viola, he disappeared right before my eyes...
I totally freaked out and ran out of the shop using the best of my eye power to see if I could track him down... No sign!!!
I was about to call Daddy Sky when I spotted Lucas in PageOne looking at bookmarks....

I stormed towards him and asked:

Mommy Me: Why did you run away??
Lucas: No, mommy... I did not run.. I am looking at these... (pointing at the bookmarks) look, these are animals... (started to name them....)
Mommy Me: (fume or appease??)

After that, he stood close by and requested me to bring him to Pet Station to see pets...
Sensing I am angry, he behaved himself for the rest of the shopping trip... =.='''
I bought Manuka honey for myself cos of my cough... And he kept asking me for it cos in his own words, I am coughing too...

Bb Lewis is sick...

Bb Lewis did not want to go to bed in the wee hours of the morning for a few nights.. Mommy Me and Daddy Sky had been so tired from taking turns to watch him..

Little did it occur to us that for a baby who had been pretty easy at nights and took a sudden change in his sleeping patterns was actually sick... =.='''

Realli blur parents and we brought him to see Dr Koh last evening...
True enough, he was having a flu n cough... Put him through the suction process and of cos, he tore the clinic down...

And Mommy Me was feeling so guilty for not being able to detect this earlier... argh.. feel like kicking myself...

Being a Mommy

There is this funny dilemma in being a mommy..

There are times where the kids will simply drive you up the wall... Especially when I am faced with the mess created by Lucas and his toys and the huge pile of laundry created by Lewis. Worse when there are sleepless nights and all Lewis wants is to chit-chat with me... and when Lucas pukes all over the mattresses...

All I can do is to stare helplessly at the mess and pray that I can keep the house as neat as possible using the least efforts..

These days whenever I am on maternity leave (leftovers from the 4 months), my days begin with ferrying Lewis to Ah Gong n Ah Ma's house, followed by breakfast with Lucas before sending him to the childcare centre.

Once I hit home, the cleaning begins by first packing the rooms and the toys... At the same time, the washer will be humming its little song... Then it is to sweep the floor and this is almost a must every other day given the post-natal hair fall I have... And I super hate this cos there are forever strands of hair on the floor and I gets edgy at the sight of hairs on the floor... =.='''
Then it will be time to send Lewis to his play-gym which I never have time to do so on weekends unlike Lucas' time..

After play gym, I will pop by Daddy's workplace to have lunch with him and that will be 2.30 pm liao... After lunch, I have probably less than 2 hours of me time including time required to shower and check the laundry...

Before I know it, I am out of the house to fetch Lucas from the centre and he will usually insist on following me home which I have to drag him over to Ah Gong n Ah Ma house.. =.='''

Then I will hit home again to pack the bags for the next day and again, it will be time to fetch the boys once Daddy Sky reaches home after work... (Not forgetting the time needed in between to pump milk...)

Some days I really wish that I have 48 hours a day to do all the above and more time for myself.. Haha but I guess it will be a while before things can be more manageable and I am definitely looking forward to that...

Ok, those are the complaints & whining... There is always this tinge of happiness looking at my boys.. When they watch television programs together:
Chit-chat with Lucas who forever has interesting thoughts for me... Looking at Lewis who forever flashes his mega-watt smiles...
Someone told me - it must be in blood of Singaporeans to complain n whine.. and whenever people ask ' how are you?', it is a competition of who is worse off...

And I can't help but agree whole-heartedly that it is the case... Haha.. cos more than half of this post is complains n whinings...

But I am glad that after speaking to this someone, I am making a mental note to tell people how much I am enjoying motherhood with the challenges aside... ^^

And all I hope is for my boys to enjoy their childhoods and for me to spend as much time as possible enjoying being their mommy... v(^.^)

Ah Ma's Birthday

First, we had breakfast at Hong Xin on Sunday morning.. On the actual day, Ah gong bought ah Ma a cake...

We are going to zoo zoo

Mommy Me cracked my brain on where to bring Lucas for his birthday...So happen I stumbled upon the Deal.com deal of discounted zoo discounts.. I made up my mind to bring him to the zoo!!!

To the zoo, we go for his birthday.. it was a rainy day... But Lucas was well protected in his stroller with his rain shield while Mommy Me and Daddy Sky sort of walked a bit in the rain with a small umbrella...
In fact, we could sense the joy in Lucas cos he loves to go to the zoo... But first, we needed breakfast... Actually, Mommy's plan was to reach the zoo at 8.30 am so that we can have the buffet breakfast at the Ah Meng's restaurant and watch the orang utans..

But these days, plans are one thing.. Reality is another.. Somehow, the timing din realli match n we reached the zoo around 10 am and the orang utans were about to return to their spot in the zoo...

Oh well, we had ala carte food at the Ah Meng cafe instead and the birthday boy wanted to eat hotdog bun... =.='''
After breakfast, we started to stroll slowly around the zoo... watching the orang utans...
Watching the giant turtles... And oh my, these turtles are HUGE!!!

This turtle stood there letting us take the fotos and when we were done, it suddenly moved and I was amazed at how it moved cos it was realli tough to move with such a heavy shell!!!

Next we made our way to Kidzworld for the animal show... After the show, the stars were there for the audience to pet and of course, Lucas was both apprehensive and excited... =.=''
Next up, it was the feeding time for the goats... I must say this is a realli good gimmick cos u pay $2 for each bucket of fresh veg feeds and the zoo keeper just looks on n collect monies while the visitors to the zoo do the work... ^^
I must say, these goats are realli rough...The bigger ones will knock the smaller ones out of the way so that they will get to eat more than the smaller goats.. Of cos, we went into this chase of looking out only to feed the smaller goats...ha...

After the kidsworld, we decided to make our way to see the giraffe as per Lucas' request.. But first, say hi to the Ah Meng's statue.
We traced our path by smelling.. eeks, the smell of the zebras realli will make me puke...
Before we see the giraffes, Daddy Sky was very excited asking me to go over to see the cheetahs...
We were only one glass door apart.. That's how near we were.. No wonder Daddy Sky was excited.. He said this is the first time he was so up close with the animal as they will usually roam the grass patches further away... That's what he meant..

Due to the HFMD, Lucas' childcare centre had banned parents from entering the school. We have to drop off and collect Lucas everyday at the door.

Mommy Me had requested to celebrate Lucas' birthday in school and we were rejected due to the HFMD. Disappointed but we understand the need to do so.

To our pleasant surprise, Teacher Phenice informed me that after discussion with the boss, they allowed us to go into the school to celebrate Lucas' birthday. But we have to confine ourselves to the eating area and cannot walk around the school.

Lucas was delighted at this piece of news. He even told his teacher that I will be coming to school with his cake and presents for his friends.. Check out the happy boy...

Bb Lewis has been able to hold his head up and prefer to be in a sitting position rather than lying in his play-yard rolling around.

Lucas has one exersaucer at Ah Ma & Ah Gong house but we have none at our place. Mommy Me decided to get one for him.. Ta-da...
He was very happy to be in there and able to sit n play with his toys..
Of course, there were times where he will sit in there watching Lucas kor kor play with his toys and he will also flash his bored face... ^^

Lucas went jalan jalan with Daddy Sky at Vivo while Mommy Me stayed home with Bb Lewis who was down with flu...He came home with a pack of stickers and according to Daddy Sky, he insisted buying the stickers.

His reasons: cos the house is too ugly and he needed to decorate it...

Oh well, we had fun time sticking the stickers on the doors of the rooms..

Short Walk @ Vivo

Lucas was given a choice of going to Vivo or McDonald after his Shichida Class.
He chose Vivo... (of cos, Daddy Sky will say that it is an obvious choice =.=''')

We went to Toy 'R' Us and Mommy Me made Lucas promise no toys and only see see look look...
Well, Lucas did try his luck to see if I will budgle.. NO WAY... ^^
So he ended up checking out the toys and walking round the store...
Then we passed by Haagen-Dazs... Tried to walk fast past it but too bad, Lucas remembered my ice-cream promise and we retraced our steps to the store...
Studying the menu on what he wanted...He settled for one scoop of ice cream with a cookie...
And called himself a Xiao Hua Mao...

Must be a growing boy cos he ate half a bowl of my porridge and numerous requests of the steamed fish and sotong... Ya, you did not read wrongly. He is into sotong too...

His breakfast of steamed fish and sotong, plus fish cake costs us $18... As he is still on the lighter side, guess I should console myself that it is good that he has a big appetite!! ^^

Weekend Stay

We had planned a weekend stay at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel and was worried earlier as we might have to cancel the stay due to Lucas...

Since Lucas was clear of HFMD, we went ahead to go for the stay... Brought Lewis along as well.. See he was lying on the bed in the room....
He was also enjoying the softer bed...
But he started to ren aka recognise the place at night and kept crying.. In fact he refused to sleep until he was tired from crying at 1 am ++... =.='''

Daddy Sky and Mommy Me were exhausted from taking turns to carry him and trying very hard to soothe him...

Guess only Lucas enjoyed himself the best at the hotel stay...
He enjoyed the buffet dinner and buffet breakfast and as we got 2 rooms, he enjoyed shuttling between ah gong & ah ma's room and our room... ^^

p/s: we met a tourist who stayed 2 rooms away from us.. And her first reaction was: is this the baby who was crying last night??? Aiyo, so paiseh lor...

Sea Creatures

Lucas walked into class and was so happy to find so many sea creatures on the wall...
Since Lucas was able to understand words, he always has a preference over learning things swimming the sea or water...
Guess it was due to the books he was exposed to as well as the fish that Mommy Me first bought him and subsequently the fish tank Daddy Sky got... ^^

p/s: He was able to name 85% of the pictures with the exception of Catfish, sea urchin and conch shell... ^^

Relief

Brought Lucas for his review last evening and luckily the ulcers and fever have disappeared..
PD concluded that it is unlikely to be HFMD and wrote a letter so that Lucas can go for his speech and drama class today... Think he was pretty bored staying at home for 2 days and was telling me he wants to go gai gai... =.=''''

He was at Daddy Sky's office on Wednesday when he had to stay home...

It is a relief to know that it is not HFMD and Lewis was able to come home last night...
But before he could do so, he was at Dr Koh to check his cough n flu... faint lor...
And of cos once he was home, Lewis was coo-ing and ah-ing almost the whole night wanting to be cuddled and hugged.. YAWNS!!!!

PD said to monitor Lucas for the next couple of days for spots... No spots so far but he did not want water... No idea why... Tried ling yang, barley, ribena and plain water.. Had to catch him and use a syringe to pump in the fluid...

But he is smarter than that, he will puke them out.... ARGH!!! I ended up spending time mopping the floor.. Sigh... Will be bringing him to the PD in the evening and hopefully, PD can clear him of HFMD...Still keeping fingers crossed....

Telltale signs??

Lucas refused dinner on Monday evening and kept complaining that his mouth was painful...
Mommy Me could not spot anything and rub some dentinox on his gums thinking it was his last 2 teeth coming out...

Sent him to school this morning and understood that there was a HFMD case in his class.. Sigh.. Have to monitor closely again...

Since I was not working today, I picked him up from school.. Feeling a little peckish, we went to Peppery to have a little snack before returning home... See how happy he was at Peppery..
When we got home and he was showering himself, he suddenly told me his mouth got ulcers.. ARGH!!!! Alert alert..

I pried open his mouth and true enough, there were 2 ulcers.. and suddenly he was having a fever... This was all too sudden, I rushed him to his PD immediately...

Dr Edmund Koh checked him and was not comfortable to confirm if it was HFMD cos it was way to early to tell... Asked me to keep him home for 3 days...and prescribed all the medications to address his fever, cough, flu and ulcers...

We are keeping our fingers crossed as the spots (if it is indeed HFMD) will show in these couple of days...

p/s: Lewis is kept at Ah Ma's house as we are worried that it might spread to him... I miss LEWIS!!!

A Typical Weekend

Our typical Sunday begins with Mommy Me and Daddy Sky getting the boys ready to go out for breakfast... We can begin at 7++ am and only get to leave the house at 9++ am...

Then it is breakfast at Vivo or Harbourfront or Song Fa Bak Kut Teh opp Central... After breakfast, it will be walk walk at Toy R Us and then grocery shopping at Giant...

We will then be home sometimes with or without lunch depending what we had for breakfast...
Then it will a short nap time... And before I know it, it is time to prepare dinner...

Dinner these days are simple rice with soup or pasta dinner.. Whipping up a 3 dishes with soup seems to be a thing in the past.. =.='''

After dinner, we will just laze around in the house...
Fat hope, only the boys are lazing around.... with Daddy Sky..

Mommy Me is busy preparing Lucas' school bags, Lewis' diaper bag and my own working bag.. in the meantime, the clothes are washing the machine and floor needs to be mopped too...

Usually all the track formations are built by Daddy Sky... They will be dismantled every Saturday morning for the part time cleaner to clean the house and in the evenings, Daddy Sky will build a new track formation. This repeats every week...

Until... this weekend... Lucas asked Mommy Me if I can build a track formation for him using his latest Sodor Search and Rescue Set...

Lucas' Shichida Classes are getting more and more challenging these days. They have recently incorporated a weekly mini test component which at the end of 4 terms will translate into points and in turn qualifies as cash scholarship prizes...

I dunno if it is considered good or bad cos Lucas realli focus much better these days but the downside is he will get real kan cheong and less confident if he gets the answers for the mini test/quiz wrong.... =.=''''

Anyway, not photos to be taken during class time.. check out these taken well before the class started today...He was flipping through his worksheets to make sure he completed the set...
He placed the Teacher's Day present for his sinsei on the desk waiting for her to come into the classroom...
Then he checked out his 'bbq pit' for the pretend play segment...
Of cos, he could also point out all the numbers on the penguins' bellies...
Well to go, son!!! Pls relax too...

p/s: He scored full marks today in class for his ESP quizes.. Am super proud of him... ^^

First Birthday Prezzie

After the morning excursion yesterday, Mommy Me brought Lucas to Vivo to have lunch.. cos near the Chinese Garden or rather in the garden, there was NO food.. Mommy Me was starving cos I did not have my breakfast.. Lucas had his morning milk... =.='''

Lucas was craving for noodles and bananas.. So we went to Food Republic to have our lunch... It was so crowded... After lunch, Lucas asked if he could go gacha..

For being so well behaved the whole morning, Mommy Me could not say No to him.. In fact, I reminded him no toys since he just got himself a couple of new engines recently but we could go in to see the toys...

In fact, Lucas kept his promise and was looking at the toys quietly and did not ask Mommy Me to buy him any...

This train set caught Mommy Me's attention instead.. It was the latest Misty Island Search & Rescue Centre Set and it was on 30% discount.. Ended up, Mommy Me was the one who got him a toy... =.=''' Talked about being san xin er yi...

Told him that it will be his birthday prezzie and he was jumping with joy... A happy boi with his very first birthday present for the year...
Smiles are all that Mommy Me wants to see on my lovely boys... ^^

The Live Turtle & Tortoise Museum

Lucas' childcare centre was closed on 2 September due to Teacher's Day. Mommy Me had earlier took leave for the day so that I could bring Lucas to watch Cars II.

But on the day before the movie date, Lucas said he changed his mind and did not want to watch the movie.. That threw Mommy Me off the feet as I had to quickly do some homework to see where I could bring him to.

Remember that Daddy Sky ever mentioned that he read somewhere on the papers that there is a Live Turtle & Tortoise Museum in Chinese Garden. Mommy Me downloaded the driving directions and off we went to Chinese Garden...

When we reached there, alas, we had to pay to get into the Garden... =.=''' Usually it is free but due to the lantern festival, the garden had been decorated with the lanterns and therefore, visitors have to pay to go in..

ok, since we are there liao, just have to pay bah.. Lucky it is free for Lucas since he is not yet 3 years old.. Mommy Me paid $12 to go in... ouch...

Mommy Me self-consoled that we could see the lanterns since we were there anyway.. And it had been a long long time since I last visited this place.

First, we came to this main arch building, there are two courtyards, namely the "Early Spring Courtyard" and "Garden Courtyard". There is also a fishpond in the center, named the "Fishes Paradise".
Past this koi pond, we reached the museum and since we were there at 9++ am, there was no one and we had the whole place to ourselves... There are more than 1000 turtles and tortoises of more than 50 over different species.

The photos might not do them justice.. They are all more than half a meter long and it was pretty cool seeing all these turtles and tortoises... ^^

Lucas was pretty apprehensive initially.. He kept thinking that the turtles and tortoises would climb out of the tanks to chase him...
See how scare he looks when taking the photo and he makes sure his eyes are fixed on the tanks... lol...

There is a big pond in the middle of the garden where we could feed the turtles.. See how many of them are swamping near us...
A couple brave ones even climbed onto land to be fed and of course, they made Lucas scream... Hahaha... but it was really a good experience to be so up close with them...
We decided to be safer and used the higher bridge where no turtles could reach us...
See how confident Lucas was trodding on this bridge... ^^
After an hour and half, we went to the main entrance and looked at the baby terrapins which were born in this garden...
Mind you, these little fellows' mommy had dug the hard soil and laid them in there as eggs before they were hatched... I was speaking to the lady in charge.. She told me the mommy turtle would first secrete lots of fluid and make the soil muddy, den she started to lay the eggs and buried them.

In fact, there were 2 spots where Lucas and me spotted covered with a metal mesh cos there are eggs in there waiting to be hatched!!! We felt so excited seeing them... ^^

We then ventured out to the Chinese Garden to take a look at the lantern exhibits...

Frankly, not veli impressive... but it was still a nice walk round the garden... Mommy Me was thinking of leaving for lunch and wanted to go back to the Turtle & Tortoise Museum once more... We passed by the yard and saw this big big lizard!!!
It was trying to make it way back to the bush and both of us were very brave cos we went near it to take photo... hahaha... of course, we were scared as well =.='''

Must give special mention to this 'Pai Hung Ch'iao' Bridge (the white rainbow, 13-Arch Bridge) at the Garden which follows the style of the 17-Arch Bridge at the Summer Palace in Peking.
I was pushing Lucas in his stroller up this bridge and god, it was so steep and I could really feel the tension to do so.. Hmm, I really need more exercise... ;p

Take a look at the mega lanterns on this bridge.. the cowherd and the weaver girl & of cos the magpie bridge..

If you wish to visit the museum, come after the lantern festival to avoid paying the entrance fee...

I love Fish

Daddy Sky and Mommy Me pretty much love to patronise this stall selling Teochew Porridge in Hong Lim Hawker Centre for breakfast on weekedays.

We had been visiting the stall a couple of times the last week but it was closed due to some minor renovation (rectification) works being carried out at the hawker centre.

We were adamant to get our porridge craving fixed and so yesterday, we were there to have our porridge.. When we were about to leave, Lucas suddenly said he wanted to see fish.. Lucky the stall owner was preparing a fish to serve to a customer and that satisfied Lucas' 'vision craving'.

This morning, we had sort of agreed to eat Char Siew Wanton Mee @ Amoy.. But when Mommy Me and Lucas reached the office, he changed his mind and said he wanted to eat fish...

Of course, where else to go but the hawker centre at Hong Lim to get the fish... ^^

Ta-da, presenting the fish...........bones... hahaha, the 3 of us polished off an 'orr-hei'...
Check out how big this fish is... And Lucas was busy going "mommy, fish fish fish... feed me!!!"

And he attracts approving stares from the uncles and aunties nearby... I even heard an auntie say to her husband - - "fish is good for kids and this boy knows how to eat fish..."

The Responsive Baby

Seeing him grow well makes Mommy Me feel that the eventful pregnancy was worth it...

1/2 Century Concert Not to be missed

When we know that Jacky Cheung is coming to Singapore in August way before Lewis was out, we were very certain we had to go watch it.

How could we miss this concert by the God of Songs??!! Hahah, especially when he is now 50 years of age, we figured that we needed to go since he probably wont be able to hold anymore concerts liao... Furthermore, he was one of those we would realli want to go watch... ^^
It was initially 2 shows and in the end, due to the overwhelming demand, he added 3 shows and we watched the second last show on Monday- 29 August...

Restaurant Review - The Hamburger Shop

Mommy Me did not feel like cooking on Sunday evening since I did so on Saturday evening..
Ha, what an excuse to avoid cooking...
Just plain lazy and of cos tired.

I suggested going to Raffles City since I have some Capitaland Mall Vouchers to spend. Was thinking of getting some stuff for Lucas and Lewis from Robinson Store..

We settled for dinner at the Hamburger Shop. Actually there were many eateries and restaurants at the basement of Raffles City but we decided to eat hamburger since the place was not so crowded... ^^

Food Review - Prima Instant Laksa

Mommy Me is trying to slowly resume cooking and instant or quick cooking stuff works best now when I have to manage the boys...

We bought a pack of this Prima Taste Laksa La Mian quite some time back when it was first launched. Was sitting in the dry food shelf and decided to cook it in the evening...
Ta-da, got some leftover yong tau foo from breakfast and added to the la mian...
As with other prima taste products, the taste is pretty close to the original Singapore laksa cooked from scratch. Of course, this takes a fraction of the time and still tastes as authentic!!! ^^

Jab Jab Day

Since Mommy Me was on 2 days of medical leave, I brought forward Lewis' jab so that I can be back in office on Thursday and Friday instead of childcare leave for both days...

Mommy Me played safe by using a face mask to avoid spreading my cough n flu to Lewis... He looked ok before his jab...

In fact, he had put on quite a good weight and looked happy...
Of course, the jabs set him brawling and tearing the clinic down... ^^

The lucky thing is he has no fever but both his thighs got orr-cheng... oops...

Relapse of Vertigo

Some days, I am in this dilemma that I hope they will grow up faster so that they are more manageable.. On days like this when I flipped through the old photos, again, I wish they do not grow up too fast else I will be missing the times that they need and stick to me.. Sigh...

What a weird situation I am in sia.. Anyone out there having the same sentiments as me??

Mommy Me will be home alone with the 2 boys as Daddy Sky has to fly to KL last minute for a trade conference... I hope everything will be smooth and manageable....

Time realli flies when your time is fully occupied..
It seems only yesterday when Bb Lewis says hi to this world and he is already 4 months old..

We had a little ceremony like when Lucas reached 4 months... First the string of biscuits around his neck...
This little sleepyhead was dug out from his nap... Look at him... ^^
Then he also helped himself to the biscuits... =.=''' And he looked happy doing so too..
Next, we brought him to Vivo to do a formal haircut.. As usual, Mommy Me only snipped off a little hair at his full month. And we agreed not to shave him botak since we did not shave Lucas.. Ha, talk bout trying hard to be fair to both of them...
Ta-da, the neater Lewis.. Hmm, got resemblance with Lucas when he was a bb bo... ^^

In the eyes of the Daddy, his boys are always cute and adorable..

Despite them being noisy, mischievous or even unreasonable, Daddy Sky always exudes a unbelievable sense of patience with them...

Sometimes, I wonder if that is good or bad cos I always end up the bad guy aka the discipline master...

Daddy is the one who Lucas will run (guess Lewis will also do the same) to when Lucas want to hide from the cane-wielding Mommy... =.='''

Crepes, anyone??

Mommy Me loves to eat crepes.. In fact, I always miss the taste of the crepes in Tokyo, Japan.
Somehow, those found here are never satisfying at all..
Was it the weather or the ingredients used or the atmosphere??!!!

Anyway, for a change today, we had Bak Kut Teh for breakfast and instead of going Vivo, we went to Liang Court..

ps: So that NO GACHA for the obviously obsessed Daddy, Mommy & Lucas... lolx..

We had a slow walk in the Medi-ya supermarket and strolled up and down the aisles looking at all the merchandise.. After the walk, Mommy Me saw a small crepe stall and decided to take a break before hitting home...
Of cos, the one who enjoys it most and looks the most 'xiao hua mao' is none other than Lucas...
He enjoyed the Choco Strawberry Crepe!!!

The crepes were so far one of the best ones we had in Singapore but still a far cry from those in Japan...

Mommy Me secretly decided to save up so that we can all go to Hokkaido in 3 years' time.. Why 3?? So that Lewis will be able to enjoy himself better lor...^^

New Spokesperson for KFC ??
