Chingay Parade

After our dinner, we came to a halt @ a junction. Next thing we saw 8 traffic police stopping their bikes on the road.. Daddy's first reaction was 'sian, road-block... Which VIP is it??" But we got a pleasant surprise.. It's the Chingay 2010 procession!!!

Getting Ready for Dinner

As today is the last day of CNY, we will be going to have a dinner with Ye-ye, Nai-nai and Ge-ges.. Lucas is delighted to go out.. Even before going out for dinner, he wants to take a foto with Daddy..

Recovered Ler

That's how I feel when Lucas is recovering well.. True enuff after the high fever, came the rashes.. And the rashes have subsided... Lucas is energised and his appetite is coming back... Mommy Me oso feels happier... ^^

Lucas' fever has gone down a fair bit but all these red spots appear all over... Asked around & did some reading over the internet.. Hmm, this is called viral meseles.. Diaoz.. this is getting tricky for me!!!

Surprise service recevied @ KKH

We rushed Lucas to the Children's Emergency @ KKH.. Half wondering how the service will be like @ a government hospital. But since we have no other alternatives, we just have to go there.

Surprise surprise.. The service is realli good.. The doctor first gave Lucas a supp to bring down his fever.. Then we had to wait around for one hour and collect his urine. But dunno wat happen, the urine leaked and his clothes got wet..

The nurse was very assuring and got Lucas a set of clothes to change into. She checked the urine bag and managed to press out a tube.. We were so relieved...

After an hour, his fever din go down much so the doctor prescribed ibuprofen and after 30 mins or so, the temperature was brought down to 37.8 and the doctor allowed us to go home.

She even wrote clear instructions for me for all the medications on a seperate peice of paper and the nurse even said goodbye to Lucas.

Frankly, I am realli impressed with the service encounter and even though the damage to wallet was $85. I felt that what I received back was worth more than $85. ^^

Peng Cai

Paiseh ah, again cannot rotate the picture..

Since for the ren ri we did not have a family dinner together so Mommy Me rushed home yesterday to prepare this peng cai for everyone...

Unfortunately, due to Lucas' high fever, I guess we din realli enjoy it.. ;-(

My Sick Baby

Lucas was playing with the ear themormeter this morning. He was trying to put it to his ear when I walked into the bedroom. (I was busy preparing his congee.)

When I saw that, I thought it was funny. But when I scooped him into my arms, then I had a shock cos he was veli warm!!!

Alamak, he was running a fever.. Diaoz.. from where?? He was perfectly fine the day before and there was no one sick at home...

Placed him at popo's place as I had to rush off to give a talk and then to attend Bb Zach's first month party.. Headache..

Anyway, hello Bb Zach.. Sorry, Lucas cannot come to see you... ;-(

Wedding Anniversary

Mommy & Daddy have been married for 8 years...Check out the prezzie from Daddy.. ^^Daddy: I wan to thank you for all the support that you have given me, especially looking after Lucas at night so that I can get more sleep.. Waiting for me and looking after Lucas while I am busy giving talks.. Thanks ^^

After dinner, we took a walk @ Tanglin Mall where Lucas got 2 presents from Daddy & Mommy...

Tutu Free

Yes, Lucas has been tutu free for more than 2 weeks lei.. Way to go..
Frankly, it was pretty smooth, we just removed it and he din ask for it.. hahaha...

Din have to see this pitiful look from him asking for his tutu... Next on the list, to be diaper-free and bottle-free... ^^

Humpty Dumpty = Daddy??

At today's Shicida's class, there was one activity on story telling which was on Humpty Dumpty.. When Lucas saw the book, he kept pointing to the Humpty Dumpty and went Daddy Daddy Daddy... =.='''

V Day Bb - Jude Ang

Welcome to the world. Bb Jude...
Yes, Bb Jude is a V Day bb.. Hee, his EDD was supposed to be 22 Jan but he gave his mommy, Zhuzhu a scare yesterday morning... Me oso tot zhuzhu's water bag bursted and asked her to rush to the hospital but it was just a false alarm.. nonetheless, Zhuzhu decided to take him out.. hahaha, end of her problem.. Ya, right.. This is just the beginning, my dear..

For those who dunno, Zhuzhu was once upon my temp staff who turned perm staff.. Me watched her get ROM in 2005 and now witness her newborn in 2010.. Gosh, now I feel old..

Celebrating CNY

This is Lucas' 2nd CNY.. Compared to his 1st one, I guess he is beginning to enjoy it better this round..

The boys had so much fun.. Lucas jus simply refused to sleep the whole day... Then when it is time to go, we had to catch the 3 boys to pose for shots for us... He finally fell asleep on our way to Daddy Sky's maternal grandma's place... We waited for him to catch his beauty sleep for 45 mins... He was then up and running again... Finally we headed home at 4 pm... He took my hand and placed his on mine...Aw... Wat a warm feeling!!!

When Mommy Me received this box of cakes, my first question to Auntie Sim Hoon was " I tot you cannot cook?!!"

Hahaha, was skeptical though but it realli tasted yummy and Lucas had 2 slices on his own.. Cool ;-p

Surprise..Surprise..

Mommy Me's office ran a chocolate making class last night.. Hmm, since CNY and V Day clashed this year.. Mommy Me thought of giving Daddy Sky a surprise.. told him that I had to stayed back late in office last night cos of giving talk... ^^

Ta-da... Made the above chocolates for Daddy Sky.. Just then, realise Lucas got nothing.. Oops..Lucikly, the cooking instructor said that there is one final item to be made.. Marshmallow Choco... Phew... Saves the day... Lucas was veli happy to get the choco.. He kept asking me to open it..Of cos, happily munching it away...

Final Revamp.. Ta-da

We are finally done with the revamp... hahaha... The last part is the living room.. The TV and sound bar have finally been mounted and Lucas enjoyed watching his cartoon with the new Blu-ray player. Mommy Me is super impressed with the graphics quality... Hmm, realli 一分钱， 一分货。

Mommy Me got a few more wall sticker from a stall @ Tiong Bahru.. At least the seller was honest and told me that they are from Taiwan...

The moment Lucas saw the stickers last night, he immediately went.... "Nice...Nice...Nice...Nice...Nice..." Then when we went to the bedroom, he stood on the bed and kept pointing to the wall sticker and went: Nice...Nice...Nice...Nice...Nice...^^

So happy that I am appreciated for all the efforts... ;-p

Paper Eating Machine

This is what I call Lucas these days... Whenever he gets hold of a piece of paper, the next thing the whole place is silent and he is munching paper... Just happen an hour ago....

Mommy Me: Lucas, NO!!!! Cannot eat paper...
Lucas: (Struggles to avoid letting me dig his mouth}
Mommy Me: Open your mouth...
Lucas: No more... ah..
Mommy Me: (Faint)

Cooking Fun

Mommy Me fell in love with this new found ingredient... Ya, I know it may not be new to some people.. This is Ya Gu, some people call it Chi Gu.. You will only see it during the CNY period... And they are being made into chips which taste much better than your usual potato chips...

After watching the 三菜一汤， this is the braised version of the veg...Yummy!!!! ^^
